Mayor Bloomberg is launching a campaign to overturn "stand your ground" laws around the nation, such as the one in Florida that led to the controversial shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

Bloomberg has scheduled a press conference this afternoon in Washington with the Rev. Al Sharpton, the NAACP, the National Urban League and other groups to announce the initiative...

got that right.

These people will not be happy until all the constitution is ripped up, our guns are taken and we have a dictator while he is being protected by his so called million strong civilian security force of racists and radicals.

The big push is on to prepare the the country for the takeover by a world government. They don’t want people having any guns, or the right to protect themselves. It used to seem years off, but it is getting really close now.

In the old America this would be a no brainier that people have the right and the need to protect themselves. But today’s Americans are dumber than a box of rocks. The leftist media just enables the agenda that has been set forth.

I wonder what Bloomberg’s NYPD protection detail packs while on duty...and under what circumstances they'd be willing to *use* what they're packing.Of *course* Bloomberg doesn't care about the personal safety of others. He's covered...everyone else can just *cope*.

If Bloomberg and his cronies can’t change politics and public opinion in forthright ways to end or neutralize the 2nd Amendment, make no mistake that long time anti-gun zealots like the ADL and others of the elite will make greater efforts intended to buy off the NRA or change public opinion, and false flags are not out of the question.

Realistically would multi billionaires prefer a country that was full of average income gun toting liberty seeking Americans, or a country that had every citizen neutered and hamstrung by a powerful controlling government?

Mayor Bloomberg is the number one reason I refused to vote for Bill Haslam -R for governor of Tennessee even in the general election. His mayors against guns program is far reaching even within the GOP. Haslam as mayor of Knoxville was a member. Write down names and never, ever, support such tyrants with a vote.

The legality of Zimmerman's actions from the moment he was attacked until he pulled the trigger are pretty much beyond question in ANY jurisdiction in this country - he COULDN'T retreat, he was under ACTIVE, LIFE-THREATENING ATTACK. This was about as pure of case of self-defense as we're likely to have in the public eye for some time.

Which why he's now being charged with 2nd degree murder. Can't look crosswise at some people, if you do, and they attack you, it's your fault and you are not allowed to defend yourself.

SMDH.

My bet is that Ubama will sign the United Nations Small Arms Treaty without the consent of Congress.

He doesn't need their consent to sign it. But it has no force in US law, until the Senate, you know those Dems and Rinos, approve it. If he signs it, we're screwed, AFAIK, a later Senate can't undo their permission. Reid would probably call the Senate into a lame duck session, assuming there isn't one for other purposes, just to approve the treaty. Romney would of course enforce the provisions of the treaty.

But if it is signed and approved even Claire Wolfe would likely agree, it's no longer that awkward time.

Stop with the facts. You are confusing the Left-Wing Oligarchs and the Peasants who fear and adore them.

"Stand Your Ground" is an unfortunate name for what used to be called "The Castle Doctrine." So I suppose now you'll be wanting to explain the Magna Carta to the mentally deficient pubic-scrool pass-alongs who make up the electorate, among whom young Trayvon would pass unnoticed.

The Zimmerman lynching is all about ending the “Stand Your Ground” trend.

Yes it is! When I heard that grandstanding prosecutor say that her office worked against Stand Your Ground, I figured there was a possibility/likelihood GZ was going to be the blood sacrifice for disarming the country.

I got news: it isn't going to work even if they take GZ down. The race war they are fomenting demands we keep our guns for self-defense!

Let's see this NYC SOB try and changed the laws here in the South. 14 year old NC boy kills a black intruder while protecting his sister. Hero status! Nobody said boo about the poor black criminal he shot and killed standing his ground. Now a Hispanic guy kills a black guy and OMG whites are evil, whites are racist, we need to take away the guns from white folks they are mentally depraved (i.e. 2nd degree murder) Where is the hew and cry for all the young blacks killed by other young blacks in drive bys? If these race pimps really cared they'd put some energy in saving those young people trapped in a cycle of violence in black neighborhoods.
