And like a good little ostrich your head is in the sand.

Well...actually that would be analogous with your position on Romney.

Ok, ok.

Go Newt!!! You still got a great chance at this one.

Give me a break. The only way we don’t get Romney is with a brokered convention. And even that seems highly unlikely.

But I am sorry for being realistic. Are you wearing generic or oakley brand pink sunglasses? My old pair must have broke.

Thank you very much, aMorePerfectUnion.

Downinthedixie:

Look at the post above:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2870891/posts?page=75#75

You’re looking at the face of evil. And it’s Romney’s face.

“I will preserve and protect a woman’s right to choose. I believe abortion should be safe and legal in America. And I’ve felt this way since my mother ran for office as a pro-choice woman in the 70’s. Roe v wade is settled law and should be preserved and sustained as such. I will preserve and sustain it.” —Mitt Romney

So, yes, if you vote for Romney the blood of the innocent is on your hands.

Furthermore, Romney loves RomneyCare. RomneyCare is ObamaCare. RomneyCare/ObamaCare provides for tax payer funded abortion. That means you and me baby are picking up the tab for this evil, socialist nightmare. The American Holocaust. Even more, Romney appoints liberal abortionist/socialist judges. A pro-life conservative cannot possibly vote for an abortionist appointing liberal.

FR is a pro-life site and will remain a pro-life site. Abortion pushers are not welcome here. Take the hint.

You surrender and do what you're told. Conservatives choose otherwise.

Voting for the lesser of two evils is still electing evil.

But either way, Jim, if the election comes down to Obama v Romney what do we do?

Vote Perot and lose?

I really would like to know.

There is no win here, only different degrees of losing.

“Thank you very much, aMorePerfectUnion.”

You’re welcome Jim. I’m in your corner on this one.

It seems people are being driven by FEAR into the arms of a second evil.

I’ve decided it is better to fight the evil of Obama openly, fiercely, defiantly... than to see the weak-wristed RINO republicans in the House and Senate support the second evil and make it into law.

Why have they not opposed Obama in court? Why have they not legally fought his usurpation of their “in session” status when he made recess appointments? Why have they allowed him to freely go to war in Libya without declaring war? Why have they allowed the government to be run by Czars who are not elected? In short, Republicans are (largely) wimps. Neutered dogs, who want to trot around being everyone’s friend, instead of fighting for the Constitution.

How can anyone imagine that will change when a liberal, evil-supporting man wins the Republican nomination?
How can anyone imagine the party will not be decimated?
How can anyone imagine Obama has not been chomping at the bit to go up against the very person who insulates him against all his weaknesses?

I’m off the Republican Plantation. I’m not carrying their water, pretending they value conservatives and feeling obligated to drag their liberals over the finish line.

Thanks for your stand Jim. I appreciate you.

One could argue that your positions place you squarely in the lemmings category.

Your posts indicate that you’re stuck on the “Republican” plantation.

Republicans can be conservatives and vice versa, but it’s not all inclusive.

Romney is a “republican”, he’s not a conservative by any stretch of the imagination.

This site is for conservatives.

Principled conservatives.

Writing in TEA Party conservative, Sarah Louise Palin

The Heath family is deeply saddened by your omission.

Now honestly.. doesn't a write-in vote carry the same weight as no vote at all?

It's a "nothing" vote for a non-candidate. Sure, you feel good
having done it.. but what have you done? What voice have you contributed?

None at all, really.

I like Wolverine. He's teh awesome.

Writing him in makes WHAT kind of difference?

Now I need to start dinner.

You just think about that writing-in thing and don't chew your nails.

I understand the lack of good options, I got none either. But "Fantasy Football" sure ain't going to help anyone.

(Chorizo tacos & cheese, you betcha.)

Option is vote for Newt in the next 20 states. If Romney loses about 54% of the remaining delegates, he doesn’t reach 1,144 and doesn’t seal the nomination. Then we have a chance to get someone else at the convention, especially if the grass roots continues the uproar and doesn’t bow down to their GOP country club masters.

One issue is immigration.

But my point is not that I agree with them, it’s that I never agree with Obama on anything.

Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to this country.

I think besides the obvious loonies Debbie Schultz Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, the only other people who I would actually not vote for against Obama would be Dick Durbin and Bernie Sanders.

I’m sure there are others, but those few came to mind.

What if we found out top Democrat operatives had infiltrated the upper ranks of the GOP and began donating millions of dollars to back the GOP candidates of their choice? Would you still support the party and its nominee then?

If Democrats had taken over the GOP could they have picked a more liberal candidate than Romney that would still be a credible nominee? Whoever runs the GOP now, they have the picked the absolute MOST liberal candidate possible that they think they could squeeze past the voters.

It’s no different than if the Democrats took over and were running the party. How can any conservative support this nominee?

Duh, if we actually take the effort to show up but DON’T vote for Romney, it sends a message to the GOP elites. Which may change the type of candidates they push on us in the future. They are at war with conservatives, as you can see by them trying to redistrict Allen West out of existence. Do you want to surrender to them or fight back?
