Vanity: What could Zimmerman have told the prosecutor?

Posted on 04/12/2012 1:27:02 AM PDT by Jonty30

Up into Zimmerman phoned the prosecutor, it looked like that it was heading to a manslaughter charge and Zimmerman's lawyers dropped him just after the phone call.

I'm thinking he told the prosecutor something that allowed her to bump up the charge. Like not heading back to his vehicle or something.

That may be why the lawyers dropped him, because Zimmerman made the case for the prosecutor.

That is certainly possible and wouldn’t surprise me.

“I agree, but the odd thing is that is all the prosecution charged him with”

I think she is there to simply keep the whole situation inflamed. If I heard her right, she talked about the murder victim, Trayvon and tossed in “homicide” a few times. I think she should just give the mob a noose and be done with it.

“All we want is for him to be charged or there will be riots”

“Now that he’s charged, we want a trial or there will be riots”

“Now that he’s on trial we want a conviction or there will be riots”

“Once he’s found guilty, we want the needle or there will be riots”

“If he’s found not guilty there will be riots”

There’s gonna be riots no matter how this turns out. But I agree, if he’s found not guilty, she can at least say she tried.

It IS “homicide” any time one person is killed by another.

YOU, however, just referred to Travon as the “murder victim”

What I meant to say was that I thought I heard the prosecutor say “murder victim” during her presser.

Yep. We all insult the defense attorney when they defend scumbags. But when you need one, they are Gods gift and can do no wrong.

This is political dog and pony show. The fix is in, Anyone that doesn’t think the prosecutor had gotten the memo is just wishful thinking! If some jury has the stones to actually find Zimmerman not guilty he will immediately be charged with Federal Hate Crime violations... Zimmerman if he lives that long is going to prison

I like good defense lawyers who do their job in an ethical fashion. That I don’t have a problem with.

With the New Black Panthers putting a bounty on his head, he is much safer in jail than out in the public somewhere.

Okay. You really don’t understand the prison system very well. Most every prison is actually run by prisoners. Depending on the location and make up of the population it could be black gangsters, hispanic drug gangs, white supremacy groups or a prison can be divided into sections run by these various groups. If there is a prisoner that people want dead, he gets dead. PERIOD.....

Prison is for those convicted.

Until he is convicted he is held at the county jail.

Have you ever heard of isolation units in prisons?

Being a neighborhood watchman, Zimmerman probably had foolish faith in the American system of “justice.” He will find that there is no balm in Gilead, I suspect. A FL jury will crucify him because it will do as it is told.

IMO, I think the lawyers quit because they fear repercussions from the race baiters and Martin supporters.

Since he was not in contact with his putative lawyers and undoubtedly afraid to stay in his home, he may have just been calling to leave a phone number where he could be reached. Could easily have been something as simple as that.

I hear his new attorney yesterday. Very impressed. A thin Perry Mason I thought.

Forensics will be the key. Was he shot from three feet away or two inches while they were on the ground. Are Tray's fingerprints on the gun?? Was Tray on drugs?? (Sometimes gives you superior "power" I suppose...makes that adrenelin go crazy??

Say only 3 things:

1) I was in fear for my life.
2) That’s all I have to say.
3) I want to talk to my attorney.

Period.
