SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco Police were looking for a woman Wednesday who sent a man to the emergency room after hitting him in the head with a stiletto heel early Sunday morning.
According to GrubStreet.com, Matt Meidinger, the general manager at Jasper's Corner Tap & Kitchen, was leaving the Balboa Café Saturday night after drinking with some friends when he witnessed a fight breaking out between two men.
While attempting to intervene, a woman associated with one of the fighters hit him in the head with one of her high-heeled shoes.
Blood immediately started pouring down the left side of my face so I pulled out my phone and called the police, Meidinger wrote in an email to GrubStreet.com.
Police said that Meidinger was cut pretty badly and taken to the hospital. Later, he posted a picture someone had taken of his alleged attacker to Twitter, offering $500 for information.
Meidingers story found traction online and within days, officers had identified the woman. If and when police take her into custody, she could be charged with aggravated assault, as police consider high-heeled stiletto shoes to be weapons.

San Francisco?
Coulda been a man, formerly a man, or a woman who wants to be a man.
Some places you have to pay extra for that.
Assault with a push-up bra next?
Evidence of the new “War on Men.”
Dumb idea trying to break up a fight between two people anyway unless you’re a uniformed cop or you know the people in question...
My first thought was that she’s Italian. Then seeing it was California I thought maybe a latina who likes Italian shoes. Then seeing it was San Francisco, I thought transgender latino who likes Italian shoes.
Stiletto’s are dangerous weapons. We need tougher stiletto control laws.

I was thinking a similar thought, that the newspaper is showing its bias by assuming it was a female, when it could have been some variety of LGBT, mutant, Morlock or C.H.U.D.
