Glenn Beck has been in Texas only a few months, and he's already talking big.

Now, he wants to address America from his own Oval Office.

Lest anyone fear that something has suddenly gone drastically wrong in our country, Beck's Oval Office is a movie set in Irving.

-SNIP-

Saying he will "deliver the speeches the president should have delivered," Beck promised to "activate the sleeping giant" of Christian conservatives in America with speeches from his new set on the Studios' Stage A.

Mainly, of course, Beck's goal is to motivate subscribers to pay $9.95 a month for his show, broadcast daily to about 300,000 viewers via computer, iPad, iPhone or other household appliance.

-SNIP-

Beck said he hopes to hire 1,000 workers in Irving for an entrepreneurial project.

It's named American Dream Labs.

He's right about the dream part

Your wisdom is foolishness - making God into an idol.

When you stand before Him and explain that you believed in a different God - and that you rejected His payment for your sin because your “superior” wisdom told you to... I wouldn’t want to be you.

Fortunately, while you are alive there is time to repent and turn to Him.

I wish the best for you.

I leave it as an exercise for you to spot.

No; since YOU made the claim; YOU show it to the jury.

Enlightened members of those faiths would reject the idea.

Uh...

An 'Enlightened' member of ANY 'faith' is usually found OUTSIDE of it.

Everyone loves a winner.

SURE we do!

President Obama listened to Republican gripes about his stimulus package during a meeting with congressional leaders Friday morning - but he also left no doubt about who's in charge of these negotiations. "I won," Obama noted matter-of-factly, according to sources familiar with the conversation.

There you go again; using an old book as a reference.

Why don’t you listen to the Voices; like me?

See, it’s that rathful vengeful stuff that I reject. I think it was made up by men to frighten people.

I think that your 'god' was made up by SATAN; to lull them into that lake you have been told doesn't exist.

Your entire perception of what is inside or outside is based on circular reasoning.

It has everything to do with wisdom and reason.

Acts 17:2
And according to Paul's custom, he went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures.

That’s fine. I once had a neighbor who believed the CIA had planted a radio in his head. It bothered me not a bit. Kind of funny, actually.

You believe that the Bible is true because it’s God’s will. And you know it’s God’s will because the Bible says it is.

I'm sorry; but I've indicated NONE of what you just typed.

What I 'believe' and what I 'know'?? Really...

This is how Beck was running his game 2 years ago, this was before he started the cycling through of ‘beards’ who were weak and of no serious threat to Romney, people like Bachmann and Santorum.

Beck never played that pretend game with anyone who was truly opposed to, or a threat to Romney, like Palin or Gingrich.

**From mediaite:
Glenn Beck and radio pals Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere rattled down the list of potential Republican nominees for President in 2012 this morning, and they had some bad news for the Tea Party movement: Sarah Palin probably won’t run, Ron Paul is still and long shot, and Mitt Romney, as of now, is the GOP’s best bet.

While Gray and Burguiere are harsh to most of the candidates, Beck spreads the love around. He tells his co-hosts that he likes Palin but doesn’t think she will run, Bobby Jindal but doesn’t think he has the charisma, and Congressman Paul but doesn’t think America is ready for him. Then, at the bottom of the pile, he finds Mitt Romney:

“I have to tell you that Mitt Romney could be the only guy that could win, and I don’t know if he could because I think that Americans are going to be I mean, this country is going to be in deep trouble by 2012, and the next term, if it’s not decided this term, the next term will decide our fate. Then I hope that Americans are ready for an adult and are ready for hard news.”

The actual audio and “context” is worse than the quote, especially when you hear the Palin to Romney transition.
