Professor Shows Pornography to Her Class

Fresno State Public Health Professor, Peggy Gish, played a pornographic, full-length film for her class on Tuesday. The adult film was called "Advanced Sexual Techniques, Volume One" and contained both sexually explicit audio and graphic video.

Campus Reform learned about the incident after a student, who does not wish to be identified, came forward.

According to an online synopsis the movie follows "12 couples of varying backgrounds and ethnicity" who "explore sexual positions and techniques."

Was this a public health class or a sexuality class? If it was a sexuality class, then the students should know what they’re getting into. If it was a public health class, then the hammer should come down on the instructor.

Yawn. I went to a 9 AM soc class at UCONN in 1970 where the prof showed a porno as an example.

Since I was 19 at the time, I was aroused for ..well till now!

I’m guessing that the shock was that the film was not PC enough for CA. The men were not wearing condoms and their was no gay/lesbian couples - hetero monogamy could stigmatize the whole frat party on Friday night and the gay fest parade.

If you look at Columbia’s “Go Ask Alice” site or various hospitals and health departments “help” section, the Sex Positive Agenda is in full push. The goal is to end all moral judgments over all sexual pairings of any kind, regardless of sex, age, relation, martial status, number, or species of partner(s).

Sex ed is no longer about hygiene or biology, it’s about positions and various fetishes. And that’s just in grade school.

I had something similar happen in my mandatory freshman Film/Cinema class.

Wasn't a true porn flick; story was about a bored 1950s housewife who ends up going to a SW dude ranch alone because her executive hubby has to cancel due to work. The owner of the dude ranch is a lesbian who introduces the housewife to her "true nature", in a very visually explicit manner.

The wife, now "educated" not only on her nature but also how evil male-dominated society forces women to be things that they aren't (like heterosexual) ditches hubby for her newly embraced "lifestyle choice".

Had several fellow Conservatives in the class. One (I wish I'd thought of this ...) decided to have a little fun and role-play a typical race/gender/orientation-obsessed Marxist in writing the reaction paper. He said that the movie clearly showed that all women are really lesbians and men are only needed for the brief moment when they provide the genetic material necessary for procreation ...

Guy got an "A" on the paper for that. I got a "B" for my ideologically-neutral critique saying that the movie was poorly shot, with bad visuals, cardboard characters, a predictable plot that sledgehammered simplistic points home and topped off with an over-the-top sex scene that added nothing to the story beyond cheap titillation.

I actually wish that we'd been asked to critique a porno ...
