Tea party leader warns Romney: Don't expect us to campaign for you
The Daily Caller ^ | 04/13/2012 | Alex Pappas

Posted on 04/13/2012 12:34:31 AM PDT by CaptainKrunch

The leader of the Tea Party Nation organization has a blunt message for likely Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney: Tea partiers will likely vote for you, but don’t expect them to get energized and campaign for you.

“The tea party is not going to coalesce around Romney,” Judson Phillips told The Daily Caller on Thursday. “Most of us will vote for Romney, but we will not be out there with signs for him or in his campaign.”

Romney voters are pissant AFRAID voters - they live in fear and are GUTLESS. They aren’t real American Patriots!

GO NEWT!! Take America back from the evil. Evil wants to stay in our house and he doesn’t care if it’s with mitt or barry, just a way of assuring himself, either way he’s not losing. Stomp on the maggot mitt!

Jim, while I very well understand your dislike for the big RINO, we need to concentrate on saving the country from Marxism/Obamunism.
I do not need to bother with an absentee vote, as I am from Tennessee, and I know that my state will not vote Obumbo, any more then they did for home-boy Gore.
Since you are in California, I guess it is a moot point, but in other states it will be very close and in those states FReepers need to vote, even if for the lesser of two evils.

As I have viewed from ten years abroad, America is sinking very fast, and another four years of the Communist will do her in.

It’s not rocket science to know they are the same. Different limos only when campaigning to reign in the ‘deceived’ and those who succumb to evil easily.

Vote for AMERICA - NEWT’S every cell in his body screams AMERICA!!

I know Gary, and he does not smoke dope and is not a Rastafarian. He just thinks that people have a right to choose their own poison. He was a sober, smart, libertarian-conservative governor who established the standard in my former state for fiscal responsibility. He set a record as a governor who vetoed more spending bills than all the other govs. of NM put together. If he has a fault, it’s that he is a lousy golfer, but he is a world class athlete. I am not voting for him; he hasn’t a chance in hell, but he is one hell of a fine man

Never consider 'even if the lesser' - that's a give up spirit - NOT an American spirit.

WE HAVE NEWT! $upport him.

As the Grumpy Old Patrician party no longer seems to welcome conservatism as its bedrock for policy making, may I recommend: Virgil Goode /Constitution Party 2012!!

She is everyone blaming some Republican “establishment?”
It was the Republican voters who chose Romney. No one forced anyone to do anything.
Personally I was for Newt, but Romney won his position fairly and has shown himself to be a good campaigner.

I totally agree with you. If Obama gets another four years , unrestrained, there will be no coming back..At least we know Romney is a citizen of this country. The powers that be will not allow us to vet this President. He, from all indications, does not understand our Constitution and even seems to hate the individual freedom it gives. Looking at the big picture, I just cannot agree with those who believe there is no choice between Obama and Romney..Do not let emotion guide your decision in this election..I would prefer Newt but he will not be the nominee.

What are you freak'n nuts? He didn't win anything, money did. He's a POS LIAR and a LIBERAL with the commie media behind him and paid off others for supporting him. It's not rocket science to know that so why don't you?

Agreed...

The kicker for me is the difference not for the next four years, but for the next 40. And that is related to who/what is put in perhaps 3 SCOTUS appointments during the term. The SCOTUS now at 4-4-1 just CANNOT be tipped to the left one inch. Of course, I feel I’m between proverbial Rock/Hard-place, as Rotney shows capability of appointing kagen-like justices here in MA; but a Senate in ‘R’ control can keep this in check, whereas even an ‘R’ Senate can not/will not for zer0.

I think the point is he earned more delegates. Let’s see who gets the majority of Republican voters now that it is a two-man race.

He didn’t ‘earn’ anything, he bought it! Stop misrepresenting the liars actions!

He bought ads, print, TV and radio with LYING about NEWT - mitt has NO record of accomplishments of a republican but a LIBERAL!!

Mitt’s an evil imposter - the same evil that invades barry. Evil just wants you to pick the color - ‘it’ doesn’t care as they are both useful to him/evil.

Backstabber ROMNEY cheated in 2012, just
as he attacked Gov. Palin’s children through surrogates
in 2008.

If Romney is on any ticket, I will work against it,
no matter which party Bishop Backstabber is on.
