Obama campaign quick to condemn a loyal supporter (Another RINO defends Rosen)
cnn ^ | 4/13/2012 | Mary Matalin

Posted on 04/13/2012 9:01:59 AM PDT by tobyhill

Every syllable that could have possibly been uttered on Rosen v. Romney, the latest offshoot of the demonstrably dopey Democrat-fabricated "War on Women" has already been said.

So this post is not a reiteration of what every common-sense person knows, regardless of their party affiliation:

First and foremost: Ann Romney is a quiet hero, a woman of indomitable fortitude and the epitome of a proud and productive modern woman; (2) President Barack Obama's policies hurt women equally, if not worse than, all Americans. (3) Whether they work in or out of the home, women have more contact with the real-world everyday problems the president's policies have made worse -- from the rising cost of daily staples -- including but not limited to, energy, groceries and health care premiums -- to the plummeting value of their homes and retirement, to a job-stifling recovery with the velocity of a belly crawl. ,,,,,,

Rosen is a liberal to be sure, but in my work with her on CNN and when she is a substitute host for Arianna Huffington on our radio show, "Both Sides Now," she is consistently a civil and articulate advocate of her philosophy. She has even been known to concede a capitalist point now and then!

Rino? Not even close. Mary was being fair. She offered no defense for Rosen’s comments.

She's on CNN (Communist News Network) so she's a RINO in my book.

Rosen is NOT the sweet little Liberal as being portrayed by CNN and Matalin. Maybe her husband James Carville asked her to cut Rosen some slack?

According to a local talk show host, this ignorant ... has visited the White House 35 times in the last three months and is also on the DNC payroll. Does anyone doubt that this femslime had briefing papers from the Clown House?

Funny, I always thought CNN employees were unbiased. /s

I have no doubt that CNN asked Matalin here to speak out for her colleague Rosen. Why would anyone in their right mind trust someone who’s married to James Carville?

She has even been known to concede a capitalist point now and then!

In other words, she is a socialist in addition to being morally corrupt.

There is no difference between mob ruled morally devoid socialists, communists, or democrats -they are the same animal.

I'm sick of these “Conservative RINOs” going along with the network cover ups every time they get called out.

Oh, c'mon. That's hardly a defense.

Matalin spent several paragraphs destroying the "War on Women" meme and praising Ann Romney. The only thing that could possibly be taken as positive was that she thought the Obama administration should have given Rosen time to come up with a better apology.

You're looking pretty hard for something to gripe about.

I had a different take. She actually said that Rosen didn’t make those kinds of mistakes of saying something without knowing exactly what she is doing.

Did you see Greta beside herself trying to speak up for this wench? Was happy to see Karl Rove respectfully disagree with her.

Now - back to our show.......

Did you actually read the article? It seems you scanned the headline and then winged it from there.

If you read the article, Matalin’s point is that the rest of the Obama operation are lowlives. Hardly a CNN talking point.

And she’s married to the lowest of the lowlives.

This is typical Obama political theater. Rosen was chosen by the White House to attack Mrs. Romney. She knew if there was a negative public backlash the White House/DNC would feign outrage. Nevertheless, the idea of Mrs. Romney as cloistered and out of touch has been planted in the public mind.

Yea, I read the article and to me it's nothing more than a defense by a RINO of a Rat. I've failed to ever see Rosen as “civil”, she's another hate filled Lib.

“Rosen is a liberal to be sure, but in my work with her on CNN and when she is a substitute host for Arianna Huffington on our radio show, “Both Sides Now,” she is consistently a civil and articulate advocate of her philosophy. She has even been known to concede a capitalist point now and then!”

The money quote!

“Yet before the commercial break, the Obama high command was in high dudgeon. Let’s do a little exercise in decoding Obama-world: Have you ever seen them horsewhip a blundering man with the ferocity they laid into Rosen? A bit of irony in the War on Women world, no?”
