Lucky for him, looks like he'll be running against Romney -- the one Republican [sic] made to order for his class warfare campaign!
Of course, O can always fall back on race warfare and religious warfare (hasn't Andrea Mitchell started laying the groundwork?).
“See, he has all kinds of options, not just one!”
He was elected without any of them, and none will help him.
The race issue is a no-brainer; he doesn’t have enough blacks, and whites don’t relate to him (as he doesn’t to them). Hispanics are hardly blossoming during his tenure; they generally have a lot at stake in this economy, and can’t be happy with the current situation (for every illegal receiving welfare there is at least one Hispanic legitimately working to raise a family).
Gender won’t work because women have hardly benefited from his first term; like men, their salaries are stagnant, their salaries paid with inflated dollars, etc.
Generational warfare doesn’t help because his “youth vote” from 2008 is now either looking for their first job or working as cashiers in the service industry, while the seniors watched their Medicare get cut to fund ObamaCare.
I don’t see the others as anything that brings any support to him, as enviro-nuts saw no gains from his policies while they also have to pay $4 per gallon for gas; he always had the public school teachers’ support, but again there aren’t enough of them.
I’m sure Obama wishes it was 2008 again, when he could promise the world everything without a track record to prove otherwise.
The Democrats have it made, they have two Democrats to choose from. They can choose to slow down socialism with Mitt or speed it up with the Changeling.
-——there arent enough of them———
That is what it all boils down to. “there arent enough of them”
The myriad of minor coalitions that collectively elected the Democrat have all lost some supporters. The result summed is “there arent enough of them “ There is no unifying element sufficient to hold it all together.
Alas, the same holds true for the conservatives “there arent enough of them” to prevail in the primary.
At this time it seems that the election boils down to which party will have the highest rate of desertion
Progressive revolutionaries know exactly what they’re doing.
IMHO
Right on . . . Obama’s strategy is to divide and polarize among every conceivable basis he can. A house divided against itself cannot stand, and that wolf in sheep’s clothing who currently occupies the White House aims to bring down this country.
“The myriad of minor coalitions that collectively elected the Democrat have all lost some supporters.”
A lot of desperate people deserted the Republicans to elect Obama; their return should suffice to defeat him (they are more desperate now).
