So this Neanderthal wants to repeal God’s natural law of self-preservation.
Is that about right?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
They want people to become even more venerable to the lawless thugs. You are not supposed to defend yourself or your family, just stand passively by and let the punks do what they want, seems to be the attitude.

Unarmed people tend to ask gov’t for help.
Armed people do not.

Philly’s always had “it’s own laws”, apart from the state’s. This BS is just getting started; watch for it to pop-up in other states, cities and towns. The gun-grabbers are going to run with this like crazy.

That could be a ‘Caption Pic’ thread of its own . . .

With or without the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law, George Zimmerman would have defended himself. The law means nothing to almost everybody. Watch the Zimmerman case and see if I am not right.
To: sergeantdave
Jones also introduced a bill to Council amending the Philadelphia fire code which would allow one and two family dwelling to use battery-powered smoke alarms if they are equipped with 10-year non-removable (sealed) batteries. Council also honored fallen firefighters Lt. Robert Neary and Daniel Sweeny with a moment of silent and resolutions....
Well he sounds like a man of the people, article throws in last minute junk at the end to convince you. Sorry not sold! Major effort to allow criminals of color to get away with murder. Back dooring social justice. Zimmerman case is used by these cretans and is not even close

Another reason to give Philtadelphia to Jersey.

Philadelphia is a bad place to have to defend yourself. You are pretty-much guaranteed that the prosecutor, judge, and most of the jury will be more sympathetic to the thug you shot.

They want people to become even more venerable to the lawless thugs.Venerable: commanding respect because of great age or impressive dignity; worthy of veneration or reverence, as because of high office or noble character: a venerable member of Congress.

This way the thugs can use your kitchen floor to bash your head in, instead of the sidewalk.

Thank you for your correction. In my haste to post I used a inaccurate word. I clearly meant to use the word VULNERABLE. vul·ner·a·ble/ˈvəln(ə)rəbəl/ Adjective: Exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally: "we were in a vulnerable position".

Have to suspect that Jones’ proposal is because it affects Jones’ business interests. Cannot have people shooting his people.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
This fellow is so assinine. The Castle Doctrine just allows you to use lethal force when your home is invaded and you feel threatened....as a sensible person would be.
Stand your ground is an entirely different concept.
There are some really stupid people out there.

Running by the pool is dangerous. It would be an absolute tragedy almost beyond human comprehension if he slipped and cracked his skull. How could the nation go on?
