VOTE NOT-ROMNEY & TAKE IT TO THE CONVENTION
self/vanity ^ | Today | Self

Posted on 04/14/2012 7:43:15 AM PDT by Mechanicos

We are not yet defeated. Per Alinsky play book, they want us to feel defeated. But, if you look at the facts although it looks difficult, it is not impossible to still prevent Romney from winning the Nomination.

Romney only has 535 committed delegates now. There are not many winner take all States left to win. And the pattern for Romney in proportional states is he wins urban but not rural areas. So, if conservatives come out to vote and in enough numbers while contining to vote the Not-Romney ticket he will be denied the 1444 he needs. The GOPe and Dems want us to feel defeated when we are not yet defeated.

And a push to "Vote Not-Romney & Take It To The Convention" is not subject to Rove's Negative attack machine. It is possible we can still stop him if we spread the word far enough. Continue voting not-Romney and help get not-Romney delegates for the convention.

So spread the word, make it something positive to do. Vote Not Romney in the remaining states and take it to the Convention for a do over.

Voting for Newt, May 8, in NC, and voting against gay marriage too. Striking a blow against Communism (Obama) and socialism (Romney)!

Newt is still on the ballot so there is still one option.

I like it. A long shot to be sure, but I like it. I also like your “never say die” attitude!

Several former Presidents were elected by a brokered convention, so it is not out of the realm of possibilities. Newt knows this, I think. The fact that his coffers are pretty much empty indicates to me that he’s just biding his time to the convention to whip up support for his candidacy.

I’m praying for divinity in this as well.

I suspect Newt is mostly just trying to get out of debt at this point.

Read Why Reagan Won: The Conservative Movement 1964-1981 (Chicago: Regnery, 1981) by F. Clifton White and William J. Gill. This includes a fascinating account of the 1968 Republican National Convention.

Going into the convention, Richard Nixon had the organization, the money, the backing of most of the party bosses, the momentum, and, most of all, the lion's share of the delegates. However, he didn't have enough to win on the first ballot, and Ronald Reagan, who was running as a "favorite son" and only announced his candidacy on the eve of the convention nearly won the nod.

Nixon won a first ballot nomination, but with only 25 votes to spare. Had the nomination been blocked, Reagan might have stampeded the delegates, many of whom sentimentally favored Reagan but were pledged to Nixon on the first ballot.

AMEN. KEEP SPREADING THE WORD. Everone e-mail your contacts and “share” Newt stories on your Facebook...

Everyone has friends or family who are conservative but really do not follow politics as we do.

It is our DUTY to get off our assets and make sure they know. It really is that simple. It is simply a question of whether we really care enough about the fate of our nation - or whether we would prefer to play a role as habitual victims.

Fox has set the tone and much of the “conservative” media follow. They are acting as though the election is OVER. We need to rally bring them the humiliation and shame they deserve by defeating this ignoble deceiver by a massive freaking LANDSLIDE in the upcoming elections that the SOB Fox lap dogs are pretending doesn’t exist.

These useless scam artists need to be a footnote4 in history.

LET’S DO IT PEOPLE!!!!

We are now down to ONE non-Romney option, and I think remarks against Gingrich are now just demoralizing and counterproductive, but maybe that's the intention.

Even though he is no longer actively running, Santorum is way ahead of Newt, and is presumably still on the ballots.

No use telling anyone who to vote for, but I think he is the likelier of the two. In any case, DO NOT VOTE FOR ROMNEY. And I think Ron Paul is a distraction, too.

Vote for the man who fought it not for the man who helped bring us this
OBMACARE is a 1.76 Trillion $ Hydra
A 9 headed Serpent whose heads must be decapitated all at once with a Firebrand otherwise they grow back and devour everything in sight
by L.J .Keslin / http://www.theusmat.com

While the ex governor of the only state with mandatory state run health insurance (which is in trouble ) was busy buying up state primary elections Of the three GOP candidates remaining opposing him only one man, Sen Rick Santorum, had the courage to take on a what they call a third rail issue...Eugenics...one of the heads on that 9 headed snake called obamacare.. and Santorum had his character asassinated for it... Rick has been pummeled from both sides Called , a women hater ,, a religious nut, and ..a one trick pony. Santorum spends an hour discussing oil and the economy then 10 seconds comenting about pornography but guess what MSM and Santorum detractors will talk about... certainly not ,what’s really in the 1.76 trillion dolllar wonder called Obamacare ,,...!; Population control,.Death panels., Private presidential armys.. and all that goes in those 2400 pages of rules, laws, and regulations and with it. cost, 1.76 trillion and rising ..

To pay off a 16 trillion dollar national debt at $16.00 a second would take 31,668 years*. .. Not including interest. There is no way to “fix” Obamacare..Part of that debt is a 1.7 trillion dollar secret Xmas eve gift that was delivered in March 09 that must be returned by someone determined to do so not just exchanged .I’ts doubtfull the man in the Etch a Sketch suit will do it. Mitt has yet to explain how his “Romneycare “is working”
A trillion seconds of time =31668 years
Two groups late in the last century led in Eugenic development. The Nazis and the Communists. Few know or remember how the Nazis began. First citing “health risk” “nicht rauchen” baning cigarette smoking, Then terminating Down Syndrome children, and then on to mentally defective children and adults,. then on to besides murdering opponents, races. All done to make the German Reich healthy and last a thousand years.

So you go to the MSM (Main Stream Media) the so called “gate keepers” for information about these things and you find closed gates .. The sorcerers in the media magically reduce a 2000 page Hydra , a Greek legendary nine headed venomous serpent that must be slain by a firebrand ,and morph it into the mourning after pill and a “womans health care issue.”
The “gatekeepers” never tell you that Obamacare bill creators and the Amish are exempt from being in Obamacare. The drafters are on record actually calling it population control and demanding Catholic bishops support it.* Their statements are out there .But not mentioned by the so called gate-keepers but by the AM the alternate media, meaning radio talk shows like Limbaugh’s and websites like Britebart’s Government . Places Obama wants to shut down and will once re-elected *Joel Pollak Britebart Government .

When Santorum talks about freedom he warns women surrender their rights when they buy into this monstrosity . That is what’s in Obamacare which is deceptively titled “The Affordable Health Care Act” .Yet Obamacom tzars who hail from that foreign land, the deep swamp of Acadamica are all preaching the utopian wonders of Eugenics. Why it’s the final solution (remember him ?) population control. Which is part of the Obamacare package.
Santorum has not shyed away from this issue miss characterized as his war on women when it’s a war on freedom for young and old.

PS Don’t forget to vote for his delegates too

I’ll vote Newt.

Santorum will probably endorse Romney as soon as he agrees to pay off Santorum’s campaign debts.

Newt is 4.5 million is debt, and is renting out his diner lists to raise money.

He’s not going to win, that door has closed. With Santorum out, Newt’s support fell almost as much. The RCP chart says all you need to know. Those hoping for a brokered convention aren’t facing reality, I hate to break it to you. That ship has sailed and Santorum and Newt were both fighting over the rudder so that it slowed down beyond catching the Romney boat. Sad but true.

The numbers are NOT with Mitt Posted by noprisoners49 (Diary) Friday, April 13th at 5:30PM EDT 62 Comments Recommenders: garfieldjl (Diary), dialove Mitt Romney must win over 60% of all remaining hard delegates to secure the GOP nomination. Surprised? 19 states still need to be heard from, and of those states 869 hard delegates are available at the state and district level (discounting the 37 total delegates available between Indiana and Arkansas, which have proportionality rules only a democrat could love). State and committee GOP delegates number about 69, which I’m throwing into my calculations as a given for Romney. Nevertheless, Romney still needs 663 delegates to reach that magic 1144 number. Can he do it? Of the 11,280,792 votes cast so far, Romney has accumulated 4,595,908 or only about 41%. Typically, Romney does not garner more than an average of 44% of the vote. Santorum averaged about 25% of the vote. Even if half of Santorum’s supporters vote for Mitt, this still does not give him the necessary 60+ % to secure the GOP nomination. [All data from http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/republican_vote_count.html]. DO NOT WAVE THE WHITE FLAG OF SURRENDER..NEWT IS STILL IN THIS..ARE YOU? NO GUTS, NO GLORY!
