The dozen Secret Service agents sent home after a prostitution scandal in Colombia were busted after at least one of them refused to pay a hooker, sources said.
The scandal — a black eye for the United States’ reputation abroad — was revealed Friday before President Obama arrived in Cartagena for the Summit of the Americas.
The 12 agents were part of an advance team meant to secure a local hotel before the summit began — yet their attention apparently turned to taking advantage of Colombia’s policy of legal prostitution.
“They had arranged to have a bunch of prostitutes come by and one of the agents refused to pay a prostitute,” said author Ronald Kessler, one of the leading experts on the Secret Service. “Yes, doubly good judgement there.”

The only possible explanation is that they were directed to procure a few hookers for Obama and Obama was not willing or able to pay.

If this is true (really wondering about that) this almost leads to the question whether those guys are perhaps accustomed to impressing ladies with their job and status, and since prostitution is illegal in most of the USA - may not even have considered the young lady really wasn’t there as a starstruck ‘important guys in uniform’ groupie?
One would certainly hope it was an honest mistake, if it really happened.
Why is the Obama Admin making a media circus of this. They should be discreet. It is foolish for them to make enemies of the SS.
They acted no differently than any garden-variety United Nations diplomat.
And they mistakenly procured females.
It seems the first reports were they were fired because of hookers.
Now, it seems hookers are legal so they are being recalled because someone didn’t pay.

How about the Secret Service team had been compromised so they had to pull them all out and used a BS excuse about a hooker.

It is hard to believe 12 adult men would all agree at the same time to order hookers? Not believable.
Could it be the one(s) who refused to pay did not want any part of this to begin with? So some jerkhead orders 12 hookers thinking all would partake. And then when 12 ladies of the night later showed up, and demand payment, well, no way I would pay for something I would never agree to nor partake of. Let the rest of the group be damned by my refusal.
Since nobody, not even the hotel, had the presence of mind to pay the hooker and make this all go away, I think we can infer a setup of some sort.
Maybe there are Breitbarts in Colombia, too.

I don’t think that’s at all unlikely.
We are a nation founded by Puritans, and our contempt for prostitution drives women it that business into furtive behavior and shame. Yet “loose” behavior which is engaged in voluntarily, is defiantly welcomed here.
Elsewhere, where societal pressures and prohibitions are not what they are here, hookers some places behave very much like temporary girlfriends.
I wouldn’t be surprized if that’s exactly what happened.
(If it happened at all, and isn’t just a deliberate distraction to get the DNC “War on Wives” out of the news)

The ethics for employees in the Federal government, especially the moral rules limiting sex, have been ditched as being judgemental, intolerant and hate. Self discipline breaks down and this is what happens. Corruption enters the door. Sex does have an expression of power and abuse if not governed by respect and love.
It’s coming to the military, worse than it is now, too. It’s in the public schools among teachers as they are ordered by activists to interact sexually with the children to erase sexual rules and “judgement” or discernment.
It has been imposed as a cultural cleansing program of erasing sexual norms and taboos as demanded by the gay elitists and their supporters (used to be known as feminists). Christianity or not, psychologically and socially, a program of moral corruption of the government and children is not harmless.
I think this is why they are systematically sexually molesting passengers at the airports. Some leaders in the Obama admin. and TSA are getting a thrill of imposing themselves sexually on the sheep. When the people complain about being fondled and photographed and viewed naked, they are protrayed as the ones who are crazy. The perverts are the sane ones. They can do what they want to anyone they want.

The issue is not whether the hookers were legal or not; the issue is not whether the agent or agents refused to pay nor not.
The issue is, if yu are Secret Service YOU DON’T DO ANYTHING to compromise the secuirty of the POTUS.
To become a SS if the pinnacle of a law enforcement career.
Why risk that for some tail you can get when you are off assignment?
That is why this is not passing the smell test.
This is “risky business” and could wind up making you or your partners dead by breaching security, so why would you do that?
Given the poor state of the American media these days, I’ll wait for the real story to emerge.

Doubtful.
The prostitutes in Colombia are so inexpensive, if 12 were ordered and only 11 SS wanted to partake then one of the 11 would have stepped up to the plate and purchased two. I believe they call that a 3some.
