Saturday, 12 at-large delegates were elected,we are awaiting results.
Santorum 6
Romney 5
Paul 5,
And 5 others, NONE of whom will go for Paul.
....This is from Friday, still waiting for the numbers from today.
In case you’re confused, the February 7th Precinct Caucuses in Colorado were a straw poll with no actual determination of delegates.
The Paul people were as usual very noisy and raucus but were in a clear minority. I regret to inform you that Newt did not do well, maybe we can pull one out from the Saturday results, in which 12 more at-large delegates were chosen....awaiting tabulation and report.
Nomination for Newt was by Cari Blake, seconding speech by Michelle Morin of http://www.mom4freedom.com/
I looked, in vain, for your name. RATSO!
Update, of the Saturday delegates, 8 were pledged to Romney, 4 unpledged, for ??? except that none of the 4 appear to be Paulites (you can tell the Paulites by googling, they will usually have RP Personality Cult crap on their pages).
Including the 3 allotted to the chairpersons (36 in all), and allocating all the unpledged, the delegation will end up something like:
Romney 20,
Santorum 7 or 8,
Paul 5,
Newt(maybe) 1
If this is off by more than 2, I will eat my (cowboy) hat. Romney 20, Santorum 8Romney will get 7 of unpledged, Santorum
In Denver,1911 Woodrow Wilson said “...America was born a Christian nation...” Monday I will send the Republican National Committee a letter documenting WHY I am not ashamed to call America a Christian nation.I will Vote only for that
candidate I am reasonably sure fulfills the wise advice given by John Jay in 1813; Noah Webster ,1832;and others over the years. I will cast my vote ONLY for a Christian and not an infidel. We got in this place we are now in-by following the
advice of the Party establishment and voting for the lesser of two evil—or voting to replace one wicked -mere politician, with another.Romney is ,by his record, a paler shade of Obama. And can the Ethiopian change the color of his skin,or the leopard his spots? How then can they who are
accustomed to do evil be expected to do good.(With sincere apologies to the prophet Jeremiah.)
We have lost our country.
Further depressing news (it seems there isn’t any other kind these days), AL delegates pledged to Santorum are going to vote for mittens. Ugh! My vote for Santorum was as much a vote AGAINST Romney.
I can’t and won’t vote for him.
Everyone I talk to tells me I have no choice if I don't want the muslim for 4 more years (at least 4 more years, because I believe at the end of 4 years he will make himself king for life - nobody dares stand up to him) but to vote for Romney - even people that don't like Romney, which is almost everyone I know.
So, I'm going to see how I feel about it when I vote, praying for a brokered in Tampa, possibly getting someone at least somewhat conservative, or better yet, a Tea Party candidate. Obviously, this is unlikely because the Rep. Establishment is ruling the party with an iron fist, demanding Romney, even though the conservative base doesn't want Romney.
