Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann stopped just short of endorsing Mitt Romney on Sunday, saying she was “very seriously looking into an endorsement.”
“I think we're seeing a uniting and a pulling together around our eventual nominee," she said on NBC’s Meet the Press. "And I have said that I want my voice to be one of uniting our party, the independents, the mainstream, conservatives, evangelicals, the tea party movement. I want to unite our party.”
Bachmann dropped out of the GOP primary race in early January and has yet to endorse any of her former opponents. But with only three candidates left in the race, and Romney the presumptive nominee, Bachmann has little to lose endorsing Romney. And perhaps little to gain as well.
Still, Bachmann offered glowing praise of Romney on Sunday, a man she once derided, along with Newt Gingrich, as an establishment, insider candidate. In debates and elsewhere, she referred to both men collectively as "Newt-Romney."
But on Sunday, Bachmann called Romney "an extremely smart guy," saying that Americans lives will be "far more improved with a proven, smart, successful businessman like Mitt Romney than someone like Barack Obama, who can only blame his predecessor for his current economic poor choices.”

I liked Bachmann okay until the debates when she came off like a snarky shrew, and notably avoided snarking towards Romney.
That said, I was a Perry Girl, threw my support to Newt when Perry dropped out, and threw his support to Newt.
With the risk of being trashed (I can take it) I get so sick of seeing MB on tv, almost as if she was a Fox contributor, and I do not even watch Fox very much anymore. Just seems as if she is on whenever I turn the tv on, the lady just gets on my nerves.

Newt’s the only one who can pull us out of this mess. I’d like to see him announce who would be his VP. Like West or Palin.

That was kind of the problem with all of our candidates this cycle. As soon as you saw them in action their appeal evaporated.
I am not one bit surprised.
I have always seen Bachmann as a backstabbing liar. Well, before she got into the race I thought very highly of her, but it only took a couple of weeks to see her true colors.

Michele Bachmann is ABO, just like Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio and Jim Demint. Pretty sad that she’s labeled a RINO for that. Seems to me Bachmann is living in realville, not some fantasy land that believes Newt can still get the nomination or produce a brokers convention.
She’s a backstabbing liar because she hasn’t endorsed someone who has next to no chance at getting the nomination? Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio formally endorsed Romney. Are they backstabbing liars too?
Just snugglin up enough to get Mitt SuperPAC to pay off campaign debt with OPM? Those selling out for Mittmoney have established what they are, now just haggling over price.
LoL, Oh, Ditter, just because I talk about beer, yard work, and guns on our state board doesn't mean I'm a guy. Hey, when I said on the state board yesterday, I paid $12.62 each for some bottles of beer for the cute-ousity factor..that should've been a clue!
