Well, the problem is I’m not going to vote for an abortionist, homosexual agenda pushing, constitution trampling statist no matter which party he may represent.

That's not the problem, Jim -- that's the SOLUTION. :^)

I'm with you. Voting for Romney is as nuts as voting for Obama.

The only way to halt the GOP's veering to the left is to vote such at liberal socialist Republicans LOSE. It's the only way. I'm voting ABOOR and wish ALL conservatives who reject Romney would do the same, so that whichever socialist wins, wins with the slimmest plurality possible. When Clinton won with only 43 percent of the vote, he got CREAMED in the mid-terms.

Who are you voting for? Socialist A or Socialist B?

If conservatives are the largest political ideology in the United States, why don’t we have any representation in our government?

A few other categories should be added:

Supports unilateral US nuclear disarmament: y-n-n

Supports totalitarian Marxist/socialist/Islamic states over US interests in ALL instances: y-n-n

Believes the US is responsible for world unrest: y-n-n

Believes that the US must be rendered incapable of militarily influencing world politics: y-n-n

Apologizes world-wide for US role in world affairs: y-n-n

Believes that rulings from UN/multinational organizations supersede US Constitutional authority: y-n-n

Believes that war is ‘illegal’ without UN approval;: y-n-n

_________________________________________________________

Obama has already given us New START which reduced deployed warheads by 70% from 5600 to 1600.

Obama has stated intention to reduce another 80% prior to reelection.

Obama reneged on US missile defense pledges to Europe.

Obama has prevented Israeli intervention in Iranian nuclear development.

Obama thinks Soviets are his friends, US voters are his enemies.

ANYONE is still better than Obama. Even though other candidates may be remarkably poor.

And at this point, even Ron Paul starts looking good.

Agreed. And I for one am getting sick of so many Sheeple asking Jim;

“Who should I vote for?”

I mean Really! You should know by now what JR’s position is. And If you need to have JR tell you who to vote for, then do you also need him to hold your hand as you enter the booth?

I think the true disaster is that our choices from the beginning have disappointed one after the other.

I can wholeheartedly agree with that, but I will say that once I really examined Newt's record of accomplishment, I came around to his side pretty quickly.

...based on Newt's recent comments that he could be "ver, very enthusiastic" for Romney if he wins the nom, I've already got a gut-shot from him.

The man does have a penchant for shooting himself in the foot with off-the-cuff statements, but as I said above, his record of conservative accomplishment proves that he will do the right thing if put into a position of great responsibility.

Foot bullets I can live with. What I can't live with, is more crushing Socialism coming from the very top.

Here’s a third choice to consider:

3. Write in your choice for POTUS or leave it blank and vote straight Republican down-ticket.

If we control the House and Senate, we can shut Obama down. We can hold all of his judicial appointments. We can withhold all money. We can even impeach and convict Obama and Holder for the crimes we know they’ve committed.

If we control both houses of Congress by a large majority, we can reverse much of what Obama’s done and he can’t do a damn thing to stop it. We could even pass a constitutional amendment or two and send them to the states for ratification. That’s the best case scenario we face, IMO.

If Romney wins, it’s business as usual, especially if we control both houses. The GOP-e and RINOs will never listen to or consider conservatives again. But ... if we give them absolutely solid majorities in both houses of Congress but deny them the presidency, guess what? They’ll never ignore us again.

Maybe we put them on notice with the above scenario and give them 4 years to reverse decades of big government. That’s the only way to stop Obama, RINOs, and big government all at the same time.

Give it some thought. I will be.

If you’re urging people to vote for Romney, you’re a RINO pusher.

I'm urging people to vote.

Unfortunately, we had too much conservative infighting splitting the votes and benefiting Willard the RINO.

If Bachman and Santorum and Perry and Cain had bowed out early and thrown in with Newt, Romney wouldn't even be a consideration now. If you’re urging people to vote for Romney, you’re a RINO pusher.

If you're urging people to boycott Republicans downticket then you're an Obama agenda enabler!

Get over it already. Mitt is the nominee and undermining him will only help Barry. Remember Regans rule.

I would pay lots of money just to see Newt rip him to shreds.

I am praying you'll get your chance, in the form of donations to Newt's presidental campaign when he faces the Marxist as our nominee!

This ugly primary that the abortionist liar is trying to buy is not yet over. Nothing is set in cement or inevitable, like the corrupt lamestream would have us believe, so do not surrender and don't stop praying.

Put your trust in Him and continue to support Newt Gingrich and Free Republic; our beacons of truth and liberty!

"I ask only one question. Do y'all really believe that Mittens would nominate a Pagan or Sotomayor to the SC? I call that quit significant."

Have you actually checked his record of the judges he backed as Governor?

And you're right! That is QUIT SIGNIFICANT!!!

bump

You know what.

I have been pretty much shunned from other forums for not supporting Romney. Not that I mind that much, of course.

Agreed, but there is at least a chance we could bully him into nominating a decent conservative, maybe ala Roberts to the SCOTUS. Don’t expect a Scalia of course. That’s about it though as obviously nothing will be done to overturn Obamacare.

We the People have yet to grasp that the Two Party system is NOT the Dems-GOP.....nor is it Liberals-Conservatives.

It Iis DC-Flyover Country. The Lords and Masters -the peons and peasants. The day that reality dawns is the end of Federalism. They keep trying to literally dilute that understanding in Flyover Country.

Our founders recognized that our inalienable rights come from God. Our nation was founded on the principle that these rights are sacred and not to be violated and that government derives its “just” powers at the consent of the governed.

I hereby withhold my consent for the government (including uber statists such as Romney or Obama) to trample on my God-given inalienable rights!!

That sums it up for me, too, Jim.
