Uh oh...romney is worse than obama!

(But I already knew that.)

He will be the end of conservatism. How can a conservative in honor reject obama’s abortion record but accept romney’s?

How can he reject obama’s support for the gay agenda and accept romney’s?

How can he reject obama’s support for higher taxes and accept romney’s huge increases as governor?

A conservative voting for romney is a hypocrite.

I’ll vote for Newt over Mitt in the primary, but there is no way I’m voting for Mitt in November—even if he is the nominee.

Same here.

I know, just a pet peeve. I just was arguing with a Paultard on another forum regarding Paul’s commentary in Liberty Defined that he is fine with a state level individual mandate because the Constitution only restricts the fed, not States (except where clearly implied)...

..it is the flawed belief that rights are not inalienable but are just things at the whim of big brother.

A vote for Romney IS a vote for Obama. They are one and the same.

I think you make Newt look a little better than he actually is. I will NEVER forget him sitting on that stupid couch with Nan McBotox and telling me about his fears of GoreBull Warming. He's just much more politically saavy than Willard.

Don't get me wrong, if he is listed on my ballot in November, I will vote for him in a heartbeat.

If he's not, and no one beyond Willard and the EvilOne are listed - are you going to hold your nose and vote? Skip over the top of the ballot and vote conservatives down ballot? I think a lot of people who are considering not voting for Willard underestimate the incredible destruction that the Obama will wreak during a 2nd term. I honestly believe that we're done if that happens.

But maybe some people are ready for the reset button and itching to put their bugout plan to work?

I'll vote for Obama, just to make a statement.

Voting for Newt is a complete waste of time. He had his shot and he blew it!!! Newt is going nowhere fast!!! I wish he was, but...he isn’t. Get real!!! And.....please when Obama becomes the next “Hitler” after his upcoming re-election....please....no comments or complaints. You did your own self in!!! Remain quiet and suffer!!! Anybody But Obama!!!

So you're voting for Mussolini instead of Hitler?

They're both socialistic fascists you putz.

The convention changes nothing. The chart will remain the same. Obama and Romney will still be the abortionist, homosexual agenda pushing, global warming hoax pushing, gun grabbing, big government, mandate pushing, liberal judge appointing, Keynesian stimulus pushing, inalienable rights denying, statist/socialist/fascist bastards they are today!

Until Saturday, I didn’t like any of the candidates. I watched Newt’s NRA speech and changed my mind. I will vote for Newt, unless Palin gets the nomination in the convention.

I consider that to be a foolish lack of courage. However, they so fear Mr. Obama...they cannot see that Mr. Romney really isn’t an improvement.

I ask only one question. Do y'all really believe that Mittens would nominate a Pagan or Sotomayor to the SC? I call that quit significant.

I counted 18 exclamation points in your last post. 18.

I have no idea what you were raving about, but it sounded like you want me to vote for a back-stabbing, abortion supporting, gay marriage mandating, tax raising, job killing, anti-gun, Socialist.

Did I hear you right?

Every politician has warts, it is the nature of who politics attracts. You aren’t going to get a perfect candidate. But, considering we looking for someone to be Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces, I’ll take Newt’s warts over Obama’s disease any day.

I have no doubt that Newt could be trusted as Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces and considering he would have a re-election in 2016, we would have something we can hold his feet to the fire on for the issues he is not Conservative on.

Imagine, however, Obama winning re-election. If you think it is bad now, imagine Obama with no re-election to think about.

Imagine Obama knowing he has just four more years to do what he wants, that’s it, all or nothing.

Imagine Obama knowing he never has to face the judgment of voters again. He’ll believe he has unlimited power.

Imagine Obama believing that he was given a blank check by the voters for his positions via a ‘mandate’.

Imagine Obama and Congress knowing they won.

Imagine Obama filling up the courts- positions that last decades beyond his terms.

Imagining Obama being re-elected with what is basically absolute power makes Newt’s warts seem trivial.

“A conservative voting for romney is a hypocrite.”

Anyone voting for Romney is not a real conservative.... not in my book.

If Newt does not succeed at the convention, who will FReepers be voting for on the Presidential line? Would having a Free Republic endorsed third-party candidate help to send a message?
