In case you needed any more evidence that President Obama's "all of the above" talking point on energy policy is a joke, Nevada Assemblyman "Tick" Segerblom, D.-Clark County, just wrote an op-ed bragging about how a recent ruling from Obama's EPA will kill coal power.
Media analysts from left and right are predicting that the most recent EPA rule-making decision spells the ultimate end of Big Coal as utilities turn to cleaner, cheaper sources for energy. So not only is Assemblyman Tick Segerblom "proud" that "plans for three coal-fired generating plants have been scrapped," this move has "helped generate thousands of jobs"!
In the five years since the Supreme Court made its ruling, Nevada has moved faster than many other states to accommodate a new regulatory situation. Simply put, weve got a lot to be proud of and our moves have helped generate thousands of jobs and contributed to a healthier environment.
Since 2007: ...
The state has set a goal of 25 percent of electricity to be generated through renewable energy by 2025 a goal that electric utility NV Energy executives insist is the minimum, not the ceiling, for clean energy production. ...
Plans for three coal-fired generating plants have been scrapped in our state. (Emphasis added)

Well, we all know how the heavily inhabited state of Nevada is covered in smog, it’s horrible, worse than North Dakota!
When do the rolling brownouts occur?
“Odungo regs have ‘scrapped’ three coal power plants in Nevada”
But Romney would do far worse than that.
Be sure to stay home so we get Obama part II.
In a dream scenario, these people would be denied the use of electricity generated by fossil fuels and only be allowed to use electricity generated by “renewable” sources.
Hmmm... another anti-American...Segerblom
The key phrase in the article is "In the five years since the Supreme Court made its ruling"
That was the 9-0 ruling on New Source Review.
OTOH, the other ruling that SCOTUS made on that same day back in 2007 was the ruling when they declared CO2 to be a pollutant in a narrow 5-4 decision
Randall Flagg is very happy.
He may be happy for the time being but wait until they come to get him. But from Boulder? Currently a hot bed of liberalism. Kind of like mid-continent Berkley. Once they are gone the good guys can assemble there to make the trek to get Randall in Vegas.
Helping keep mankind warm for almost 65 years.
Fine. Let him sit outside when the air conditioning kicks on.
O-zero sure seems like Randall Flagg, this is real scary.

Tick Segerblom @tsegerblom Lawmakers craving more power http://is.gd/HgChNe @reviewjournal - give it up, cook, you're the only one craving power
They must be planning on lighting up those casinos with wind power.
The Democrats and Rinos and California transplants have made Nevada a wasteland.
Someone has to process all those Unemployment Benefit applications.
Meanwhile the drumbeat of Dictator Obama grows louder:
regulate - control - destroy - Regulate - control - destroy - REgulate - control - destroy - REGulate - control - destroy - REGU
before he takes his Victory Lap he should wait and see what Big Coal SuperPAC’s do to Democrats in the fall.
Think “Harry and Louise open their electric bill and it has tripled”.
