Dumb stuff. REALLY dumb stuff.
I have less than half the cookies baked for son’s wedding and no freezer room. Heck of a thing to stress about. I’m lying awake trying to think of who has a freezer I can use.
It sounds trivial, I guess. I had really nice cookie tables for several nieces and acquaintances’ weddings. I sure as heck want a really nice one for son’s wedding. :-( I can’t believe something as stupid as freezer space is holding up the show! Inlaws have a huge chest freezer, and wouldn’t you know my brother-in-law and his wife filled up the darned thing with a side of beef a month ago. After the thing sat there half empty for several years!!!
AND I’m fretting for the Republic!
Casting my vote for Newt next Tuesday - if only to make a statement.
Wanted to get food for Easter but didn't have room. Eventually Mrs p6 brother took some and that gave us some room. Then I was stupid and bought a 16 pound ham, LOL! We're STILL having ham for dinner and I haven't made soup yet!
One thing that is kinda interesting/distracting from worries for us is that at least three of our guesses on when the ice breaks on the Tanana river in Nanana Alaska are in the running. Youngest son has the 23rd, A friend has the 25th and I have the 30th. Mrs p6 took May 10th!
The ice is starting to rot and temps are up in the 50's during the day. Ice thickness is dropping rapidly.
The winner gets at least $339,000! Last year it had to be split 22 ways though.
Where do you go to place your bets? LOL!
It won't help you now but maybe you should look into getting one of those mini freezers, just a couple of cubic feet and sometimes you can find them pretty cheap.
We want to get one but I still have a lot of stuff to clean out from when we moved first. Meanwhile Mr p6 is thinking about taking the HUGE double door refrigerator from her uncle's house if they decide to sell it.
If they do sell it that means the brother who is fighting cancer will have to go back to the farm. Not sure if that's a good idea.

OK, I’m ready to drop off to sleep again. I’ll start asking around at work to see if anybody has freezer space. Or I can check in the classifieds to see if anybody has a chest freezer they want to sell cheap! (Mr S won’t be happy! lol!)
I avoid watching Romney almost as much as I avoid looking at Obama. What the heck is wrong with the republican party? I’m seriously thinking of changing to Independent, but I want to have SOME say in the primary elecions. I keep getting robo-calls from the Romney camp. I haven’t been answering but I think I might start just so i can tell somebody off!
Of course this year here it's not as good as when the winter is hanging on but it's still something to help get out of the doldrums.

Wpgb came up for me on my tablet. A little slow but not too bad.
It came up OK on my tablet as well. I’m listening to it now. My laptop was not. I hope my laptop isn’t dying!
