I don’t approve of Beck speaking there, either, but even more than the Mormonism I was thinking of Romney’s pro-abortion, pro-homosexual stances. It makes me ill they invited him there.

What in blue blazes is going on with Liberty University? For the second year in a row they are having Mormon cult leaders give their commencement address! Aren't there any esteemed, godly, conservative evangelical CHRISTIANS this supposed Christian University can call upon to provide it's graduating class with a CHRISTIAN role model and CHRISTIAN ideals and BIBLICAL principles to emulate? Instead, they have the unmitigated gall to ask a TEMPLE Mormon cult leader who, when living in MA was the highest ranking Mormon cult leader in the entire state on par with a Roman Catholic Cardinal. This guy believes he is going to become the "god" of his own planet and that his wife is going to perpetually pump out so-called "spirit children" like the queen Alien from the movie ALIENS and that the sole purpose of these so-called "spirit children" will be to populate god Mit's planet in order to WORSHIP and SERVE "god Mit" for all of eternity!

Who in the blazes is in charge at LIBERTY University? Who in their right mind would make the decision to have the CULT leader "god Mit" address the Christian graduating class? Whoever they are, they should be FIRED!

If I were an alumni or the parent of a graduating student I would be outraged and I would let the university know it.

Since when do CULT leaders like Mit rate the privilege of addressing Christians? This is insane.

Wouldn’t doubt it. I get a couple of regular publications from LU. I’m going to write a letter of cancellation and tell them why, and send a copy to Jonathan Falwell. Not that it will matter.

Per my local news last night, I was surprised and heartened to hear that many LU students are angry that Romney’s going to be the commencement speaker. I turned it on towards the end of the segment, but I think it said they are planning a protest during convocation.

The story is here; also, there’s a poll asking whether Romney is a good choice for speaker. Unfortunately it’s 48% yes, 39% no.

Thanks, my grandson will b e transferring to the University of Memphis this fall. At least there will be no illusions as to what they stand for. Two years as an honor student and on the Sounds of Liberty team was all he could take and be away from home and his sweet girlfriend.
