Good evening, Kathy!

*HUGS*

Legs are pretty sketchy tonight - the Keystone Kops are a pretty sketchy, too. I QC'ed some work this afternoon - interesting, but I guess you have to make some allowances for the first day.

Seriously, I was really feeling the effects of last night's PT today. I couldn't have made it through the day without the walker. The lower back has been a problem all day, too. Don't mean to complain - it just seems that physically, everything is going to Hell at once.

Getting ready to hit the hay - will chat with you tomorrow. Hope you have a restful night!

Your list included Louis Jordan's "Rock Doc." Here's Jordan's version as well as Patti Casey's, on the Vita label of Pasadena, Calif. Both date from 1956:

I’ll take you round from town to town to see the friends I knew.
I left them by the wayside once upon a time or two.

RUSH - Best I can, rare live version with great guitar jams, 1974 at the St. Catherine’s Secondary School! With original drummer John Rutsey (RIP).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoRZbf61GdY

While the previous was a true “Rock & Roll” song, the following is more philosophical.

Rush - Carve Away the Stone (1996)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtsXaGUpG5w

You call roll the stone
To the top of the hill
You can carry that weight
With an iron will
You can drive those wheels
To the end of the road
You can try to deny
The weight of the load

And, just for the heck of it - here is RUSH’s just released this week song from their upcoming album (38 years after St. Catherines Secondary School!):

Song: Headlong Flight (2012)
