President Obama enjoys a 49-43 percent lead over Republican nominee-in-waiting Mitt Romney, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal national poll released on Thursday evening.

The 44th president has a 49-46 percent approval rating, but his numbers on managing the economy — 45-52 percent disapproval — indicate Obama’s central vulnerability.

I checked the msnbc.com website, and it looks like the poll was of 1,000 adults - not registered voters, not likely voters, simply adults, a.k.a. the results are meaningful only for propaganda purposes. QED.

Actually these poll numbers are not that bad considering the vast majority of voters have probably never heard Romney give a speech where he lays out his vision for Amnerica. He can only go up once people start paying attention, assuming gas prices stay high, jobs are sluggish, housing is weak, etc. Also, I wouldn’t compare him to Dole or McCain, who were old duds with zero charisma. Romney is different—he has energy with the fire in his belly. I wouldn’t count him out yet.

Notice it was interviews and not party registration, registered voters, nor likely voters. The internals and questions indicate total BS.

Let them continue to say this stuff. Question: Why would anyone believe this pole (as in means of pole vaulting Obama) over a Rasmussen Obama down 5 among likely voters or even Gallup poll Obama down 5 with registered voters but he fell 3 points just since Monday? Look it up.
