A Funny Thing Happened to a Truckload of Ammo on the Way to Phoenix
Multiple ^ | 4/20/2012 | self

Driver Bogan Jabin Akeem {place of birth undisclosed} instead takes 268,000 rounds of ammunition into Mexico. Owner of Trucking Company is Kenyan born Dennis Mekenye, who prides himself in hiring foreign born truckers, and vouches for both Akeem and the cargo. But have no fear: US Consulate officer Olga Bashbush {yes, Bash Bush} has confirmed Akeem's US citizenship. (Links below)

Thinking Fast and Furious and federal blackbag operations?

From "Boss: Driver took wrong turn into Juárez with load of ammo":

"The U.S. truck driver detained by Mexican authorities Tuesday with 268,000 rounds of ammunition was transporting a legal cargo to Phoenix but mistakenly exited to Juárez, the man's employer said on Wednesday."

"Dennis Mekenye, owner of Demco Transportation Inc. in Arlington, Texas, said Bogan Jabin Akeem, 27, left Dallas on Monday with a trailer with nine pallets containing the ammunition."

"The cargo was being taken from Tennessee to an ammunition retailer in Phoenix called United Nations Ammo Co. as part of a legitimate transaction, Mekenye said."

"Olga Bashbush, spokeswoman for the U.S. Consulate in Juárez, confirmed that Akeem was a U.S. citizen and said consular officials met with him Tuesday. Representatives of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives did not return calls seeking comment."

From another article,"A Kenyan Living The American Dream in Texas "

"...{Dennis} Mekenye is tracking his business in the wee hours of the night, to ensure that operations at his company, Demco Trans Inc, are on track."

"He has employed 80 workers from about 20 countries. Some of them are from East Africa, while others are from Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Malawi and Mexico."

Was this more of Fast and Furious, by other means?

Was this a decoy operation (as some suspect the Obama multi-layer internet birth certificate was) to draw off Regime opponents from the crux of Fast and Furious?

I don't know. But can anyone believe this is a coincidence?

Considering the driver, is there a Hezbollah group in Juarez?

United Nation Ammo? Hmmm... and a bunch of foreigners are hired to do this? Okaaayy... THis is mighty suspicious. A wrong turn? I call it BS indeed. This looks like a cover up for a blackmarket and black foreign account transaction to me.

Yeap - Phoenix sits right on the border of Mexico...I can see where a left turn could mistakenly taken him into another nation...

...and yet, the diversion media wont report it - won’t look into it - won’t follow up with more information...will just do something totally unrelated to informing the Us public...

Let’s see - turn on FOX, MSNBC, CNN ...let’s see what they are talking about???

Bogan Jabin Akeem?
Wrong turn? Accidental?
Come on, does anyone here not think these quarter million rounds of ammo aren’t headed straight to al-Qaeda.

268,000 rounds would not be much for a firefight, not if you have a minigun.

Kenyan backed company transporting ammunition across America, to who I wonder?

Obama sending out war supplies to his cronies?

What a bunch of morons.

I used to make that drive every two weeks between El Paso and Phoenix and I can assure anyone that it is an 8 hour drive.

Oooops, I made an 8 hour directional mistake?

Horsestuff.

United Nations Ammo Co. AND Demco Trans Co and all foreign workers...sounds awful Marxist, to me.

I encountered such a driver about a month ago. He apparently passed the CDL drivers test but could not speak nor read English. How he navigated I don’t know but he set in the parking lot two hours doing nothing after presenting the wrong pick up documentation.

It took his dispatcher nearly an hour to locate him and straighten out the mess.

I never learned his ethnicity but he was a lot like Borat

trail run...I’m sure the owner and his little comment about, “this is my first time being investigated” might be true...but with every criminal enterprise - there’s has to be a first time...

“Never get involved in land war in Southeast Asia.” - Vizzini

“Never hire an Arab to do a simple trail run - they will always screw it up.”

Even though they got away with the 9/11, Oklahoma Bombings, and others - there were indicators that no one paid attention to or acted on...most of the time they do this stuff right in the open - and most people feeling uncomfortable - will turn away and not deal with it!

All questions will be answered if that driver ever gets out of the Mexican prison system alive. Penalties for illegally bringing guns and ammo into Mexico are severe. I've known folks who faced years in Mexican prisons just for accidentally crossing the border with a couple forgotten boxes of .22 ammo in the trunk of their car.

Here is a link I found for UN Ammo. They have a call for prayers for Jabin Bogan who took the wrong turn.

I have never worked with this company before. A website can be setup quickly.

This article seems to have multiple errors in names.

United Nations Ammo Company

Uhmmm, low cost GPS receivers that speak any one of about a dozen languages could solve a problem like that if they ever become available.

Interesting. I heard the report on AP radio news but it said a Texan, didn’t mention his name nor actual country of origin.

If you leave dallas for phoenix, one interstate basically takes you the whole way. That turn in El Paso into Juarez is all too easy to get off on. It has signs about bring guns into mexico,,etc. But it just looks like a regular turn in the road,, not the gate to hell.
Lots of people make this exact mistake there.

Is there really any possibility that this was "driver error?"

The closest possible east-west road on a route (not the shortest) from Tennessee to Phoenix is US-10. From google street view, here's the sign after you get off US-10 West and onto US-110 South to Juarez - before the border crossing. Can it possibly be clearer - IN ANY LANGUAGE!

Maroons, my man, maroons. Mucho bettero than morons. :-)

Dallas to Phoenix via I-20 & I-10 does not, I repeat does not require a ninety degree left turn at any point in the journey. Especially in El Paso.
