no budget? nothing should be paid, especially congress.
I’m not sure we’ll ever see a budget again. Certainly as long as Reid is in control the Senate we will not. But even if the GOP takes the Senate and the Tea Party tries to institute real cuts, there are enough RINOs that hate the tea party far more than the dems that they will block it. Back in the old days, if you didnt get a budget it was a “shut down the government” showdown but not anymore, they’ve figured out how to beat that PR mess. So now the spending just automatically goes up (which dems and RINOs love) and there are no headlines. And they can still claim they never voted for any spending increases. Perfect cover.
