don’t mind me, I was just messin’ with Debs ...

“Shut down” was a poorly chosen phrase.
It was a business decision on my part. 0cents.com was always a labor of love, not profit.
The new Dodd Frank laws imposed more mandatory monthly charges + software upgrades and I just decided that it was no longer worthwhile for me to fund it each month.
That said, I have hundreds of sewn on badges and hundreds of full size badges sitting in my garage gathering dust.
That was part of the problem. The bravado of “If someone only made that, I would buy....”
Bravado did not translate to buying unfortunately.
I started 0cents.com in early 1998 with the Clinton “Jail to the Chief” stamps...so, it was a 12+ fun, some years profitable, most not.
I’d like to think that it mattered somewhat during that time.
I also enjoyed making each and every one of those mugs!
To: TigersEye
Sorry, I craiglisted my mug press, heat press and a bunch of other 0ents.com business stuff to a Hip Hop group here in Las Vegas...such irony.
To: Seeking the truth
OK, just thought I’d ask. :-)

I was only ten when the news hit that George Reeves was found dead, an apparent suicide. We cruel kids joked that he put on his Superman costume one last time and leaped off the Empire State Building observation deck. But the Wiki entry states that Reeves did it the old fashioned way with a pistol. Speculation as to motive, of course; he was not unemployed after the Superman series ended, but lived in the shadow of the character he was best known for.
Bruno Ganz is an accomplished actor, but just how many films produced in Europe even make it to this side of the pond? The last German film I can recall is “Das Boot” (1982).

Well, George Reeves was a notorious alcoholic who was having an affair with the wife of a local L.A. mob guy. The story was pretty sorted, but the "Superman" connection is a fiction. I think most people believe the story you heard.
I'm not sure how many of Ganz' films got American theatrical releases, but I see as many as I can since discovering "Wings of Desire" in a movie art house.
No little internet oddity can hurt him since most Americans don't even know who he is. He does French, German, Italian and American movies. "The Last Days of Chez Nous" is Australian. I have "Downfall", but won't watch it because I don't want to see him as Hitler.

I thought that Nazi colonel in Inglorius Bastards and the circus owner in Water For Elephants is great too. Great German actor. He was also the villian in the Green Hornet remake. He is a lot of fun to watch.

The worst part about watching Hitler in “Untergang” is that he appears almost human to the point of banality. He berates his generals but treats his secretaries with kindness and even gives his henchmen leave to get out of Berlin to save their miserable hides.
I watched it with horrid fascination & mixed feelings. Hope it gave its German viewers some food for thought.

As an undercover member of the ‘FR Spelling Police’, I would like to point out that at minute 2:42-43, the word “privelege” is misspelled... privilege is the correct spelling.
Please check your spelling before posting; we may not be as kind with your next spelling error...can you spell ZOT??
Lesson over..carry on with your shenanigans.
