Don’t worry. Mayor Rahm Emanuel will do a ballet dance for the protesters and that will calm them down.

Just the sight of Emanuel in a tutu will disarm them because they will laugh themselves so silly that they will piss in their pants.

Jesse Jackson will join the protesters because he can get some media facetime. Rep. Danny Davis will be there too, because that’s what good reds do.

I would expect Bill Ayers might blow up, er show up, at the protests.

The problem is that while Chicago's undermanned and demoralized police force is distracted and preoccupied with trying to protect citizens and property from the tantrums of the spoiled suburban brats that make up the protest movement, AL QUAEDA AND/OR Jihadist “lone wolves” may be planning a mass casualty attack. Chicago is a PC Sanctuary City in a larger Sanctuary County(Cook.) The city and neighboring suburbs have large and growing Muslim populations. Pandering political hack posing as police chief McCarthy has announced publicly that , unlike NYC, the Chicago PD does/will not monitor this community. NATO is in Afghanistan. Common sense says the threat of a terrorist attack —on the subway, a large public building?—is high. God help us. Our local political leadership has deliberately put Chicago in the terror bullseye while doing little or nothing to protect us.

Or better yet, just fly these foreign dignitaries into a military base out in the Nevada desert or the Alaskan tundra where their security can be assured, and only the heartiest protesters will be out in the desert or permafrost with their signs.

I believe the Canadians did that a few years ago, held the conference in Banff National Park, then sent the protesters a letter warning about feeding the bears. Not many protesters bother to try to show up.

Obama has made much of his bringing the ‘international stage’ home to Chicago. They didn’t get the Olympics, but it seems they’re getting more riots. The Chicago riots of 1968 were really helpful to the Dems then; hope history repeats itself.
