“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and LOVE. 2 John 1:3

This election will be the first election in perhaps a century which will be all about the future. Do we continue to go backwards to a Soviet style economy or do we move forward and begin to trust the American model. The question will be, do you want to be Americans who believe in their fellow man or do we continue on the Eastern European model that requires an all powerful gummit controlling your every decision from cradle to grave? That is the decision we will be making and one that if presented correctly will lead to the largest landslide since Reagan.

The only reason we are in a recession that can’t end is due to the District of Corruption and its all powerful agencies stopping any type of economic growth. From oil to autos they have stifled business in ways which will require the dismantling of institutions throughout our country. If we wanted to recover all that needs to happen is to run a bulldozer down K Street and take a left on Pennsylvania Ave and we would see the stock market rocket and real unemployment would drop overnight. The only way this can ever become a reality is by firing all of the CommieCrats who have been instituting their strangling laws like ObozoCare as well as their global warming bills which have done nothing more than strangle America.

We watched this begin with the overregulation of the banking system and the stopping of drilling by the Reid Pelosi congress during the last two years of the Bush years. After six years of 4% unemployment and 5% growth during what their mediots claimed the jobless recovery, they played politics with Fanny and Freddie using them as cash machines until they turned them into economic nuclear bombs. Congress forced them to accept any and all loans no matter how risky the borrowers then selling the worthless paper into the open markets becoming radioactive investments making the valuing of these bundled loans impossible. This is the problem when gummit gets involved directly into the marketplace, the free market is disrupted.

At the same time this was happening, they were vilifying and making the oil companies buy their resources from foreign sources driving the prices of gas up through tight supplies. Since gas prices are eighty percent the cost of oil and 1% specualation, when oil raises from $60 per barrel to $120, gas will go from $2/gal to $4 which is exactly what happened setting off the timer on the bombs. People then were being forced to decide between filling the car to get to work and buying food or paying their mortgages. In addition to that many businesses were forced out due to the higher transportation and fuel costs putting more people on the street and the nuclear explosion was heard around the world. Fortunately for the DNC they own the Stone Age Press who spun it as Bush’ fault and he became the fall guy and they walked away untouched.

Now we have the biggest opportunity since this country’s birth. Do we continue down the path of communism or do we make a real change and become a truly capitalist country? Do we continue to let the gummit make our every decision through regulation and intimidation or do we have faith in our creativity and ingenuity to allow our businesses to grow us out of this morass? This will require the hardest work we have ever endured while having to grow our lives in ways we have no comprehension towards. If we do take this step and begin to really move forward of taking our Federal gummit out of our lives and resources we will create a new world which will have potential never before seen as the capitalistic engine fires up propelling America past those countries whose models the DNC is genuflecting.

After the election if we win all three branches of gummit and immediately eliminate obozocare, we need to nullify all the restrictions that stop the free market in the Depts. of EPA, Education, Agriculture, Health and any other department that interferes with business. At the same time we need to turn the Federal lands back over to the states or better yet sell them to private citizens and industry to pay off the debt. Of course we will need to develop our oil and coal industries as well as Nat Gas to begin to rebuild our energy industry to fuel this engine. When you have states like NV, AK and OR which have over 50% of their land owned and mismanaged by the Feds, you need to reassess how to get the best management of those resources. Can they be managed better from 3-5000 miles away or by the states or industries that can properly care and develop those resources which can visit them on a daily basis? The answer should be obvious to anyone east of the Potomac.

Our country needs to move into the 21st century and the only way it can do that is with 21st century ideas and technologies. This will only happen with a new way of thinking which relies on the creativity and innovation that can only be found in a free market society. We have seen what a disaster centralized planning has been over the past fifty or so years as the bureaucrats sit in their cushy jobs protecting their turf and stifling ideas and progress. We need to get rid of those agency zombies and allow the free market to be free and create the ideas and jobs it has created to make us the innovative giant we have been in the past.

We have been given a political system by our Forefathers which can foster those ideas and now we need to allow them to grow. As we move into this election and beyond we need the courage and conviction to take a bold new step into a new world that was designed by our Founders’ brilliance who gave their all to make men free. America needs the courage to throw off the chains of communism and take a brand new road that has been hidden with berry vines and boulders for over a century. It is up to our generation to work on clearing that road and rebuilding stone by stone, our Shining City on the Hill.

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily mine, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Morning AB, All...

Was just sitting here when the thread went up. Singing at the 10 am mass so need observations from yon Freep crowd as to the Sunday talk show content.

As always, thank you AB, for doing this thread.

One comment before I must go.

Delaware’s upcoming primary, this Tuesday, is a bit interesting in that Newt Gingrich has really been playing it.

Newt is like the Terminator, seeming to never die.

This past Thursday, y’all might recall, had someone from Newt’s campaign announcing that he was pulling out of the race and that he had cancelled all of his campaign appearances in some state, think it was one of the Carolinas but don’t hold me to it.

Then, as Newt’s campaign always does...they shouted...NO WAIT!

I think that Newt was really about to throw in the towel when somebody mentioned that Delaware’s primary was coming up and to announce withdrawal from the race might dampen that vote.

Ya think?

The plan was changed to announcing the withdrawal until AFTER the Delaware primary cause folks, Newt’s been working this state, especially proud Conservative Sussex county, wellspring of Christine O’Donnell and certifiable tar and pitchfork carrying.

Frankly I’d be surprised if Newt carried Delaware but who knows, with dreams of becoming the next COD to take down Romney, right here in the first state, he MIGHT pull it off.

Newt voters are way more likely to vote in this primary than Romney voters. Newt’s campaign stops here in Sussex county have been BY TICKET ONLY and I’m quite sure he has dreams of terminating up once again.

We shall see. NewCastle county is Delaware’s biggest and they’ll go Romney all the way. This is Mike Castle’s territory. HOWEVER, there’s not a whole lot of Repubs up there in the wilds of Newcastle save maybe Tom Ross and aforementioned Mike Castle.

Below, the link to my Blog post about why I am no longer a Republican, should anyone care.

I and husband will be voting for Newt in the Delaware primary, for what it might be worth.

Maybe. I was thinking pessimistically, that with Cummings (2X), Collins, Lieberman (2X), Assholerod (2X), and Sheila Jackson-Lee, that this Sunday was a bust....

Lieberman is still a sellout to his ethics--condemned Clinton, then voted to spare him--so I dislike him immensely.

Luckily, here in Alabama we do not have to belong to a party in order to vote in a primary. You simply ask for a democrat or Republican ballot when you go to vote.

Of course, this means that 3rd party votes aren’t held, at least in a primary. They can and will be on the ticket come November. Then, everyone gets the same ballot, with all the various candidates on it.

So we don’t have to “belong” to a party. Still, I always vote in the primaries, and always ask for a Republican ballot.

Last month I voted for Newt, but Santorum won our state because of all the Baptists, which is funny, being he’s a Catholic and all. I’ve made some hay for us Catholics down here on that! Been using it to straighten out some old lies about us Catholics that seem to be the default position for so many evangelists, like how we worship Mary, Saints and statues, are prevented from reading the Bible, and how we can only confess sins to a priest, etc, etc. So that part has been fun. I had a whole box of free Cathecisms given to me by my priest I passed out to various Baptist ministers (my father-in-law is one) who meet at the local McDonalds, Huddle House or Hardee’s for morning coffee and Bible study...

Anyway, go Newt!!! Win Delaware!

nor ineligibles including endlessly mutating Capt. Etch-a-Sketch.

That said, HAS it not been a week with some deep mirth

Pardon me, but that has been disavowed from the top as a communication glitch, not a true cancellation followed by a reversal.

I don’t know what went on there, and neither do you.

Therefore, it’s quite difficult to “interpret” it.

Wow another great one,thanks.

Energy is a quick start for the new administration. We need to Alaska every state in the union the way Palin did and we will be off to the races quickly.

If Romney gets on the shy side once elected we have to be here to light a fire under his butt every time something important like gutting the budget or eliminating every Presidential decree ozero did comes along.

With voices like yours it won't be too hard.

...”Happy Earth Day. Hug a tree.”

The Tree Hugger

Walking through the woods a man comes up to another man hugging a tree with his ear firmly against the tree.

Seeing this he inquires, “Just out of curiosity, what the hell are you doing?”

“I’m listening to the music of the tree.”

“You gotta be kiddin’ me.”

“No, would you like to give it a try?”

“Well, OK...” So he wraps his arms around the tree and presses his ear up against the tree.

With this the other guy slaps a set of handcuffs on him, takes his wallet, jewelry, car keys, then strips him naked and leaves.

Two hours later another nature lover strolls by, sees this guy handcuffed to the tree, stark butt-naked, and asked, “What the hell happened to you?”

He tells the guy the whole story about how he got there.

While he was telling his story, the other guy shakes his head in sympathy, walks around behind him, kisses him behind the ear and says, “Sweetie, this just isn’t your day.”

Good morning, everyone!

You are right, bray, about this being the most crucial election probably since 1860.The big difference is, our resident slaveholder class is looking to irrevocably bind us all in chains and not just the auction block Negroes. They already have most of them in the chains they already forged of drugs, government dependency, the plantation mentality, tribalism, and jail.

It should be obvious for all to see but unfortunately it isn't. This will be a turbulent and even bloody year as our freedom and libery hang in the balance.

Gregory manages to imply blame Bush for the Secret Service affair — because of an article from a news magazine about SS internal problems in 2002.

Gregory references one of the agent’s posting of comments on Facebook about Palin in 2009.

It’s Facebook’s fault for existing and allowing government people to post on Facebook. Evil! EEEEEVVVILLLL! Facebook is EEEEEVVVVVIIIILLLLL!!!! [/s]

Gregory wonders whether it is wise, for the poor taxpayers, whether Gingrich should still be getting Secret Service protection [implying that Gingrich has essentially not going to even get close to the nomination].

All I can say ia Amen, bray.

We need to support the nominee, work to elect true consevatives to the House and Senate.

If we can take back all three branches and keep them long enough to get some conservative judges appointed, we have a chance.

Four more years of Obama would put us in such a deep hole I don’t know if we could claw our way out.

Hi TomGuy. Thanks for the update.

Is it not amazing that viewers will never see
David Gregory go after Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.
But who knows why?
Where is the disclaimer of his relationship?

=> On FOX “NEWS” PIMP-ROMNEY-SUNDAYFEST,
Chris Wallace actually spent the entire time
working hard for his beloved loser RINO Romney.

Joe Lieberman would not take the bait.

Mitch Daniels tried to sidestep it, too.
Daniels said barely nothing on his “fifteen minutes”
until the sentence. Even there, Romney Pimp Wallace says
“Is not Indiana locked up for Romney”?
Daniels again sidesteps that final attempt of
FOX-Bain “News”’-Anchor-Wife-in-Training to pimp
their man. Mitch Daniels responds
that, no, Romney will have to earn it (the vote).

I Just watched the bent axel on MTP.

Clearly DNC Dave is trying his best to bring up issues that the regime will face and allow them to offer excuses now--"Sunday" on his show so that talk radio will not have any ammo to fire at the Marxist regime during the week.

Very slick, nothing new but extremely slick.

Looks like the race card other than Zimmerman is taking a back seat to class warfare.

Evidently, polling which the rats live by, is suggesting that class warfare is a winner.

By the way if these clowns are ever forced to do a fair poll using likely voters with,1/3 Republicans,1/3 commies and 1/3 indys, they will lose every time. You will never see any of that until the last week of the election when major polling companies have to fess up or lose face when they are horrendously wrong.

Axel,"Romney is only for the rich all his tax policy will benefit the rich, cost the middle class".Bent Axel,"you have to build an economy from the middle out"--like to know how a poor person gets you a job,(a Rush comment)that will be a first.

Its all, class warfare all the time even if it does not make sense!

This is the thing about the rats. Nothing has to make sense--'it was all GW's fault, don't go with the policies that got us here'(they had the Congress since 06!!) all sound bites have to do is sound good and work. They don't have to make any sense whatsoever.

WHat axel is so good at is turning every issue back around on us. The economy is bad--it's our fault since zero inherited it from GW,it's not zeros policies which axel won't talk about, its all GW. Energy-- its speculation not zero not signing on for the pipeline,it never ends.

What axel can do like no other largely through astroturfing and triangulation is to create a lie--"Romney is a rich guy only wants to help the rich"--repeat it over and over, and then pretend its true.

He gets away with it until he hits a barrier--talk radio, the New Media. We are the only thing stopping the regime.

If axel is ever forced to talk about budgets, spending, debt, the real issues of the campaign--which are ignored every Sunday after Sunday he will lose. So he always ducks those questions and turns them around on us--its our fault for not negotiating with zero. Not Zero's fault for being first President not to deal with Congress and not to submit a budget for over 1,000 days.

This guy is a master,he truly is running the show along with a few others.

We are making huge strides out here in deep blue Oregon. We have important petitions fighting our biggest boondoggle which is Light Rail mass transportation. This is changing the landscape and putting Conservatives on offense for the first time in 20 years.

Pray for America

It’s encouraging to me that the dog story resonated so much everywhere.

The main stream media could not put a lid on it, altough I’m sure they tried.

When Obama tried to capitalize on Romney’s Irish Setter’s road trip, someone (I heard it on Rush) but not sure he originated it, dug up the story of Obama eating dog.

This quickly went viral with all sorts of cartoons and jokes.

You speak for may of us Altura. When this thread stops being about the Sunday TV talk shows and starts being “hate Romney all the time” many of us will be gone.

When did FOX get into pharmaceuticals? With that FNS lineup, they’re obviously running clinical trials on cures for insomnia.

Don’t you love how Billie and Karl said Mitt should play defense and look presidential and not attack Obama. That worked out pretty well for McCain and every other defeated nominee who tried it. Yeesh!

Do we continue to go backwards to a Soviet style economy or do we move forward and begin to trust the American model.

I think it's moving forward towards a statist economy.  The Democrat argument is already taking shape as not returning to the "failed" Bush economy where the rich get richer that favors big business, big oil, wall street and the rich. And, that capitalism and trickle down economics or a market economy did not work.

We may have problems overturning the 0zero healthcare unless we can get 60 senators to have a bullet proof US Senate, or enough senators with the willingness to kill it one step at a time over time.

Second problem will be 0zero Democrats hiding within agencies, just as the Clinton and Carter bureaucrats did.  These radical leftist sleepers will sabotage efforts to stop the progressive march to the left.

The best news is the Tea Party is alive and well and a number of RINO's will be challenged in primaries, like Lugar and Hatch.
