An Iranian military commander on Sunday said the Islamic republic is building a copy of a US spy drone captured in December 2011 and revealed what he said were "codes" gleaned from the unmanned aircraft.
"I am giving you four codes so the Americans understand just how far we have gone in penetrating the drone's secrets," General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the head of the Revolutionary Guards' aerospatial division, told state television.
Hajizadeh did not give further details, saying: "This aircraft is a national treasure for us, and I cannot divulge information about it."
But he added Iran has "started producing a copy of the RQ-170 drone," stressing it used the same US technology in stealth fighters and bombers.

You have a lot of hope. I have very little confidence in the people running our intelligence program. Why didn’t that aircraft have some type of self-destruct or something that would prevent it from freaking landing in enemy territory????
At the very least, it should have taken a full power 20,000 foot nose dive into the hardest surface it could detect.
Maybe the drone had junk trojan horse Chinese stuff in it. Rampant in mil. equipment, unfortunately.
This is what they have so far:
10 PRINT “IRAN SUCKS”
20 GOTO 10
“I am giving you four codes so the Americans understand just how far we have gone in penetrating the drone’s secrets,” General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said.
“But what is Ovaltine and why should I drink it?”
That is true.
The software is threaded in such a way that deconstructing or copying would result in a complete meltdown of the source code.
