But then at age 35, he bragged about eating dogs... and thought it was important to include dog-eating details in his 1995 autobiography, DREAMS FROM MY FATHER.

Obama is proud of being “Third World” and non-American. Americans don’t eat dogs. He stands against the colonial USA, and this helps reinforce his credibility as “down for the struggle.”

That’s why he included it. That’s why it’s important.

I was going to do a vanity about this. What American kid between ages of 6 & 10 would eat DOG?!?!?! I highly doubt any of my children at that age could have been talked into eating dog...no matter what I said or did. I don’t care if the Santa Clause or the Pope gave me dog, I can’t imagine I would have eaten it when I was beteween 6-10 years old...

He didn’t grow up in a place like you I did. He was in Indonesia where that is just the way things are. There are cultures that eat all kinds of stuff to survive.

Oh I realize he was in Indonesia after age 6. However, I am somewhat surprised that he would eat dog. By age of 6,I don’t believe I could have enticed or forced my children to do that.

Ages 6-10 are very formative years. I would submit that is when much of our culture and patriotism are instilled...during elementary school years; he was not here, learned the ways of Indonesia (including eating dog which is pretty abhorrent in US culture)...which may explain some of his world view.
