A salacious scandal involving US Secret Service agents cavorting with prostitutes in Colombia ahead of last week’s presidential visit has overshadowed Barack Obama’s efforts to build his re-election campaign.
But more significantly, the scandal, which has run in parallel with revelations of overspending by the federal government’s property agency, is further corroding public respect for the country’s governing institutions.
The daily parade of details of incompetence and impropriety among Washington agencies accentuates the findings of a Gallup poll last year which found an alarming loss of public faith over the last decade in US government institutions.
Only the military held up at a high level in public esteem, while the ratings of the Supreme Court, the news media and schools all fell steeply. Confidence in Congress dropped the most, down 17 points, to below 10 per cent.
The Obama administration is called the "most crooked administration" in history....Obama does exactly what a community organizer does rather than lead this great nation, he is hard at work to destroy America while joking about being called a Socialist...rather than a Marxist which he also is.
And therein lies the Socialist’s Conundrum.
You cannot sell support for more government when public confidence in government is collapsing all around you.
I don’t know where it came from, but every time I read a quote from Michelle, the theme song to “The Jeffersons” starts playing in my head. It doesn’t happen with Barry, only Michelle.
An Administration, like a fish, rots from the head down.
The attitude of the staff is a reflection of the attitude of their management and it starts at the top.
Corruption, vice and dishonor are trickling, in not flowing, down into our country.
This isn’t a sidetrack, its a RESULT OF.
When you put incompetent folks in charge of any organization, you create a vaccuum, and in that vaccuum you wind up with this sort of thing happening.
It is blindingly obvious we have a petty and small man, in a very very big job and he’s completely unable to handle it. As such, over the past 3 years, cultures prone to abuse have recognized this vaccuum and expanded to fill it.
If you were looking at one organization, you could say its a one off, the fact there are 3 or more major scandals all the obvious result of lack of oversight and leadership, tells you all you need to know.
Never hire a small man to do a big job, and the man-child that is Obama is one of the smallest men around.
A scandal does not exist until the liberal media declares it so. Thus, noting to see here, folks...
