U.S. President Barack Obama has issued an executive order that for the first time will allow U.S. authorities to impose sanctions on foreign entities who help authoritarian governments use modern technologies to commit human rights abuses.
Obama made the announcement Monday at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, specifically naming the governments of Iran and Syria as major violators.
The order freezes U.S. assets linked to people who provide technological help -- like satellite, computer and phone monitoring -- to oppressive governments. Obama said modern technology should be "used to empower people, not oppress them."
The president said "national sovereignty is never a license to slaughter your people."

The same Obama that has TSA looking at us naked? The same Obozo that wants smart meters on every hose? The same Obama that wants all our doctors to be forced to upload our medical records to a central database?

Also,,, you don’t look behind the door unless you’ve hid there yourself.
No, no, no. Nothing so dramatic. The government only wants to ensure your safety from bad thoughts, by tapping your bank accounts, retirement plan, medical records, limiting “bad speech”, protecting you from bad scary guns, teaching your children the “right” way to a collective drone, etc.

Obama pulled his, “If I had a son, he’d resemble Trayvon”-stunt and the NEXT DAY he commemorated, “To Kill a Mockingbird”, a movie about a mob killing an innocent man, simply cuz he was the wrong color.
That’d be unlimited cynicism, right? Don’t believe me?
So when Obama decries using technology to suppress people, that means HE IS ABOUT TO DO (OR IS DOING) EXACTLY THAT.
