JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - In addition to posting a $150,000 bond, the judge imposed several restrictions on George Zimmerman's release while awaiting trial.

Zimmerman was released on bail from the Seminole County jail early Monday morning, got into a white BMW and was driven away to a secret location.

How about stupid reporter bingo?

Dumb reporter qustions:

Where is the secret hideout?

Is there a website that will show the gps location?

Why didn’t the state appeal the bail?

Who signed this second amendment?

What road will he be taking to go see his lawyer?

What state is he in?

Will the prosecutor also work on the civil suit?

A judge has a right to impose pre-trial release conditions. Yes, I was a pr-trial release officer in Fl for 6 yrs.

I understand that it is common to ignore the constitution and invoke "pre-trial" conditions. Imagine if all political dissenters were accused of a crime and then given "pre-trial: conditions. That would be and effective tactic against dissent. Now imagine if their trail was postponed indefinitely. The police state would have power over any citizen they wished, suspending the 2nd amendment and tracking associations etc. And all it takes is a government prosecutor to file egregious charges and willing to abuse their position. This is almost commonplace with the social services cps crowd.

You probably did your job well, even according to the desires of your superiors, but you were a cog for cause of tyranny. The framers would not be impressed with our safe guarding of liberties they pledged their lives their fortunes and their sacred honor to pass to us.

You’re looking too deep into this. The judge uses the reasoning if ensuring public safety for doing this. A prime example is domestic violence. Nobody knows what the hell happened, but the judge will invoke his authority to order a no contact order. If someone(z) doesn’t folks that order, a writ of attachment is then ordered. I know it doesn’t sound cool, but a judge can articulate pre trial sanctions for the safety of the community..

Btw, thanks for calling me a cog for expressing facts. Pre trial restrictions are a fact. Thanks for showing your ignorance. It is what it is... I wouldn’t want a drunk driver out on bond to continue driving drunk. Would you? I would like some oversight and trust in the first appearance judge to have some discretion on the bond conditions.

Why didn't they give the License Number, too, so the NBP thugs could follow it? (They had someone posted 24/7 to do so, I'm sure).

Zimmerman can be easily located with the Tracking Device, once someone cashes in on the Bounty, too, that way.

He's a dead man walkin', I tell ya.

I did not call you a cog for expressing facts, but for your willing participation in the machinery of the police-state.

You participated in abrogation of what the law of land says "shall not be infringed", you helped to control lawful behaviors of un-convicted citizens under the auspice of public safety; this is what every tyrant claims. The fact that it is common does not make it right, the fact that it is common makes it heinous.

If a judge finds probable cause, he has every right to make restrictions in the name of public safety...

gps beats in person reporting every month. It also means he can’t be accused of going somewhere he should not “just to get him” into a swearing contest with an alleged victim or probation officer.

If the NBPP can corrupt somebody in law enforcement, Zimmerman is a sitting, and soon dead, duck.

Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday so George (being half Peruvian) won’t miss out on that.

I'm German and I still like half priced margaritas. In Colorado at least May 5th is cheap food and drink. Zimmerman can only enjoy the food, and that only till his early curfew.

It has been over a month since Trevon died. Zimmerman turned himself in, he has made no threats or actions that give even an inkling that he is a threat to public safety. It is ludicrous to think that he is going on shooting rampage, gonna get drunk and go a rapin. It is the black "community" that is doing the threatening - too bad the judge is punishing a man that he is supposed to treating as innocent, because of the mobs who are guilty of threats to public safety.

I think he should be shot at the first available opportunity. To protect the community, you know. Can’t have a risk like that running around. I think there is widespread agreement Zimmerman deserves no rights under the New United States of America, where people are punished for crimes before they are convicted of anything.

(Do I HAVE to “/Sarc?” I think I do.)
