American Thinker ^ | April 23, 2012 | Thomas Lifson

Google, which sits atop more data than anybody outside the NSA, is presenting Bill Ayers as the author of Barack Obama's purported first autobiography, Dreams from My Father. Follow this link and see it while you can. If it is gone by the time you read this, a screen shot of the page, and a close-up on the Dreams entry are provided for posterity...

If you scan the text and come up with less than one hundred “let me be clears” it was definitely Ayers.

I am less concerned about Mr. Ayers being the author of Dreams of my father than I am about Mr. Ayers being the author of President Obama.

Uhm, I don’t see what Lifson is talking about. Not in his screen shot or elsewhere...

Now the link leads with books attributed to Ayers and then Dreams of My father attributed to Barack Obama.

"Behind the Violence, Says Jane Alpert, Was Sex"

"The leaders of the Weather Underground, she believes, followed a similar pattern of constantly shifting sexual alliances..."

"He [Bill Ayers] also writes about the Weathermen's sexual experimentation as they tried to 'smash monogamy.' The Weathermen were 'an army of lovers,' he says, and describes having had different sexual partners, including his best male friend."

"...the Weathermen, when not engaged in group sex, committed such revolutionary acts as parading with a Viet Cong flag through a local park on Independence Day and spray-painting the walls of a high school with the slogans, "Off the Pigs," "Viet Cong Will Win," and "F#$k U.S. Imperialism."..."

"What happens next bears watching closely, as does the response of the president, ex-Speaker Pelosi, and others on the left.  Encouraged by leftists in the Democratic Party and funded by left-leaning nonprofit organizations and celebrity contributors, Occupy Wall Street may in time morph into something resembling the radical factions of the late 1960s and 1970s."

I doubt Obama knows how to write. Heck, he can’t even talk without a teleprompter.

Hmm, I see it as the fourth book from the top, and when I click there it gives me the zoomed-in Google Books preview.

The question, as with all celebrity written books, is if the “author” has read it!

This is nothing new.
A few years ago I read about a woman that spotted Ayers
in a Chicago airport Starbucks.
In conversation with him, he bragged about being the author
of “Dreams Of My Father”.
About the same time I was reading a piece about how Obama, as a young man, was sent off to Bali, equipped with the latest version of a typewriter/word processor.
He was to start his writing carer, but spent the entire time lugging the machine over his shoulder as he walked the beach, and never authored a single line.

I think all of us know that everything with Obumbo is a lie
and built on the same principle.

Ayers is one of these intellectual half-wits who accepts the groundwork of leftist ideology simply because it allows him to tell a lie while at the same time fooling him into believing he’s telling the truth.

First of all, the search is not for books by Bill Ayers, although it will find those. It is for mentions of Bill Ayers in any book. Note of course that the author “Dreams ...” is listed as Barack Obama.

Then why does it show up? This appears to be some kind of a hack. The scroll bar on the right shows purported hits of “Bill Ayers” in the text. When you roll the cursor over them, they show some kind of commentary, not necessarily in sympathy with the putative author. These excerpts are not on the page which is supposed to contain them, so I don’t know how this came about. As I say, it certainly looks like a hack.
