(CNN) -- Muslims in Europe face discrimination in education, employment and religious freedom, an Amnesty International report said.
"Muslim women are being denied jobs and girls prevented from attending regular classes just because they wear traditional forms of dress, such as the headscarf. Men can be dismissed for wearing beards associated with Islam," said Marco Perolini, Amnesty International's expert on discrimination. "Rather than countering these prejudices, political parties and public officials are all too often pandering to them in their quest for votes."
The report, titled "Choice and Prejudice: Discrimination Against Muslims in Europe" and issued on Monday, details the problem, with a focus on Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
Amnesty International raised the issue, as it has done before, of restrictions "on the establishment of places of worship and prohibitions on full-face veils."
The report said employers have been permitted "to discriminate on the grounds that religious or cultural symbols will jar with clients or colleagues or that a clash exists with a company's corporate image or its 'neutrality.'
"Wearing religious and cultural symbols and dress is part of the right of freedom of expression. It is part of the right to freedom of religion or belief -- and these rights must be enjoyed by all faiths equally." Perolini said.

Why they are considered ‘favored’ immigrants is quite beyond my understanding. As a country, I would want the most educated and the group most likely to adobt and blend with my culture and population. Islamic people are usually the LEAST educated, do not blend with the population and have been shown to be the most disrruptive, abusive and criminal element you could chose.
Minnesota grants a state-tax free period of 7 years to immigants, and has opted to pick the Sommali as the group of choice. If you or I open a business, we have to pay taxes as part of our operating expenses. But, if someone opens up next door and is an immigrant, they do not have to pay the taxes we (as Americans) must pay.
Yet, in the Libtard mind - blatant discrimination is somehow ‘fair’ and ‘good’.

The peaceful way for Europe to handle the situation is to end immigration from Muslim countries and begin mass deportations of Muslims back to their nations of origin.

Rome fell for many reasons, but immigration was surely one of them. The schoolbook notion of "Barbarian Invasions" makes many people think of armies sweeping across Europe, defeating Roman soldiers. Sure, there was some of that. But mostly these were migrations of entire peoples.
Peaceful Germans moving into France were not always seen as a bad thing. Give them farms, and they won't start trouble. They want to join the army? Great! Rome needs soldiers. They are gaining positions of political power? And they don't speak Latin? And they worship strange gods? And they don't understand why the emperor isn't a German?

Haven’t seen too many Amnesty reports decrying the persecution, oppression and murder of Christians and other “infidels” in Muslim countries.
This comes as no surprise and should have been completely expected. Islam has caused a lot of wounds, and it does not appear that there has been any progress with the image that Islam is “the religion of peace.”

I don’t see a specific report from AI regarding the status of Christians in the middle east as they did as a status of muslims in Europe.
Further to call what muslims may have to deal with in Europe, is NOTHING compared to what Christians have to deal with in countries muslims control.
THe muzzies play the victim card until their numbers get to a certain population percentage, then they get vocal and violent and start demanding things under threat of violence.
They also restrict where churches can be. Gasp, they also restrict where businesses and factories can be, too. It’s called ZONING laws.
They restrict now what Christians can wear at work. No crosses for flight attendants and nurses for example. The muslims are not being singled out.
I think any country that wants to keep its identity, if there are people in it that start making noise about wanting to live the way they did in their old country, is you immeidately take away citizenship, and ship them and their family back to their old country. Everyone will be much happier. And we won’t have the people that deliberately WILL NOT assimilate into their new country and demand the new country change for THEM.
There was an entirely different effort to remove Moslems from France. There were later wars that resulted in the removal of Moslems from Sicily and other Mediterranean islands.
The Crusades had nothing to do with Europe and everything to do with opening the Holy Land up for Christian pilgrims.

During the 1500s KIng Philippe of Spain led the Catholic League in destroying the Ottoman fleet and reopening the Eastern Mediterranean to European trade (With, for the most part, the Ottomans).
The Reconquista was quite successful ~ even though it took about 700 years ~ WWI was far more successful and led to the occupation and conquest of just about every Moslem country on Earth!
BTW, when the Spanish Christians finally kicked the Jews out of Spain most of them chose to go to other European countries.
