Looking at Lulu Campbell’s bullet-riddled silver Toyota Tundra, common sense says the 57-year-old grandmother should be dead.
It’s impossible to tell how many bullets were fired at 2 a.m. Saturday morning on English Avenue, but what started as an armed robbery attempt turned into a full-blown firefight.
There are eight bullet holes in the Tundra’s hood, another in the front grill, and both front-seat side windows have been shot out. There’s also a single bullet hole through the front windshield, when Campbell shot back at one of the assailants. At least four of the bullets that penetrated the hood left secondary holes in the metal that’s right behind the driver’s dashboard. One of those shots took out the vehicle’s power brakes.
Campbell said she felt at least one of the bullets fired through the passenger’s side window pass right in front of her chest. There’s still broken shards of glass on the seats, on the floor and on the running boards.
Campbell looked inside the cab of the truck and wondered aloud how she could have possibly survived the encounter.

If the Toyota still starts and runs, with all those holes in the engine’s hood, Toyota ought to make a *durability commercial* with it.

Before you enter the city limits, cops pull you over and check you for weapons. If you have none, they give you one, cause you WILL NEED IT.
Then we could hear about how they were such good boys and they were just turning their lives around.
Me, too. And, for the same reason I wear a seat belt in my car and have a fire extinguisher in my house.
You need to go here to “authenticate” that the perps were “Holder’s People,” but they are!
You also need to take notice that the Macon paper didn’t publish the pictures of the perpetrators, only the victim.
Campbell said she couldn’t find it, got out and checked the truck’s backseat to look for it in her purse. As she searched, she said she heard a voice in her head whisper to her to get into the front seat and lock the door. She immediately did, and she said that likely saved her life.
Good tactical lesson here.
Just like with this little fighting lady, 40 percent of all armed robberies have two or more suspects. It is not uncommon for there to be an unannounced “standoff” guy who is watching as to who will resist the robbery, and then deal with them, usually from behind.
Always scan for secondary targets.
The annual AAC Silencer Shoot features a couple cars as targets. A smart cookie would arrange to bring a flatbed and claim the remains, and mount that body on an otherwise good-running car.
That’s because the Macon paper is more liberal than the NY Slimes.
FWIW, a cousin was walking from the parking lot into the south Macon Wallyworld a couple weeks ago when a speeding car full of ‘holder’s people’ snatched her purse and then dragged her across the parking lot for a bit. She’s OK but quite shook up. A week later they found her purse in a nearby dumpster with everything in it but the cash. No arrests have been made...
The bullets that went through the dash board almost had to get her, but didn't.
She shot at one of the perps right through the windshield, and I've practiced that shot {at an old junk yard}, and the noise inside the car, is ear drum splitting.
I would not want to mess with Lulu, as her husband found out.
The editor of the paper (one of Holder's people) has been on the radio fanning the flames of the Trayvon Martin shooting. Complete idiot this guy is. The southeast side of Macon is a racial powder keg just looking for someone to light it.
Do you think the LEOs would be stopping you every 15mins with all those bullet holes, just to check registration, license, CCW etc? LOL.

Those two thugs learned a lesson that big surprises come in small packages.
She said the perps were regular customers. This was premeditated and planned.
This is why I hate the news media. They're giving the next perps a heads-up on what they will confront when they attack her, and her employees, again. They're further putting her life in danger and they're too stupid and cold-hearted to give a rip. Getting copy is all that matters to them.
Best thing to do is tell them "no comment" and slam the door in their faces. Jackasses.
