This dad wired his Autistic son because he was told that he was violent. The teacher and aids abuse the child and even called him a "b@stard". It makes me sick. Union teacher has tenure, aide was fired.

One of the things the dad was talking about was understanding there are restrictions in what the school can do with the union contract. When he deals with the district he needs to remember two simple things. A teacher's contract is an agreement between the school and the collective bargaining group. It is not a contract entered into by parents. The second is that the IDEA is federal law which requires that children with disabilities have a right to an appropriate education. When you take the school district to court they will find an employment agreement won't stand up as an adequate defense for not fulfilling their obligations under the IDEA.

Dad needs to lawyer up because otherwise the district will use his emotion in the video to say he poses a threat to their staff. There are times to negotiate, but when given the opportunity the district failed to fire all the staff responsible.

This is heartbreaking, in many ways the sick in hospitals, the weak, frail, older Americans are also victimized in a simular way. I saw it happen to my parents, by some staff, though there were good people too.
With nationalized healthcare it will unfortunately become the norm. Obamacare will do for healthcare what liberals have done to the public school system over the last 4 decades. Turn it into a Zoo.

My soon to be 7 year old son has high functioning Aspergers. What those ‘’teachers’’ did is beyond reprehensible. Equally as beyond reprehensible is the failure of the school district to fire every ‘’teacher’’ involved.
This is what you get when unions and liberals run government education. Those P’sOS would’ve met with my wrath after i heard what they’d done. Fortunately for them, this father was more ‘’restrained’’.

Tenure makes sense in college there one is expected to handle controversal ideas among adults that can fend for themselves.

It has no place in K-12 where tender minds and innocent students shouldn't be at the mercy of a schoolroom dictator.
