How the hell can they call a state with 5% in?
Exit polling and knowing the districts.
That’s a wrap for Newt. Can’t even win a truck stop state at this point with Santorum out.
If you go to the link- you can scroll over the districts (3 counties). Newt wasn’t close- 20-30% down in each region.
Let’s hang tight, and hear what Newt has to say. You okay, buddy? I trust Newt and his judgment... and will be listening closely to what he says tonight...
The real question is whether anyone is bothering to turn out now that Santorum is out of the race. I suspect many conservatives are just staying home but I’ll see what the numbers say in the morning.
The RINO wave has swept the blue states. Now can Willard take the south?
Come Monday, Willard will probably be the only one left in the race (well, except for Ron Paul but nobody is really counting him).
I am a conservative and I would not vote for Santorum. Newt has done more for the conservative cause than any candidate in this race.
IF anyone wanted to vote for Santorum..they could have as his name is still on the ballots.
I mean November
I don’t ever listen to Romney speeches. Sound is turned down.
Vin, are all the states winner take all or do they divide the delegates?
It really doesn’t matter what Newt does at this point. After tonight he’s relegated to the Ron Paul tier (aka a vanity run).
Except Ron Paul isn't $4+ million in debt.
97% of the DE v6%ote in, it’s Myth 56%, Newt 27%. Can we accept reality now?
Sorry, katie- don’t know. Never one to follow the math-
From that the site that you posted it looks as if the Democrats had a better turn out than the Republicans.
97% of the DE v6%ote in, its Myth 56%, Newt 27%. Can we accept reality now?
Reality is that a great majority of those who call themselves Republicans are a bunch of eggheads to vote for someone like Romney after what we all went through in 2008.
I had higher hopes for my state of DE.
My county,Sussex, at least went 34% for him.
I will say this much—win or lose in Novewmber, the end of the GOP has come. Conservatives have been beaten back from the high water mark of 2010.
Some thanks we get for getting them back into power.
From Election Day 2012 onward, we no longer need to worry about getting the GOP into power. We need to get ourselves into power, and to hell with the GOP.
Rick Santorum could change this race in a heartbeat, by not caving in to Romney, and releasing his delegates to Newt.
But I sense he is negotiating for his best deal going forward, and it is not important to him that conservative ideals go forward, or even win in 2012. Otherwise, he would have realized how important today was in changing the race.
It is just not that important to him. Whatever “debt” Santorum has, his supporters could probably wipe out overnight.
Romney puts in place an openly gay man as a national spokesman—why? How in your face can you get to Conservatives, especially the Santorum supporters?
This is exactly what you can expect from this point onward.
Romney is the biggest Trojan Horse the GOP has ever embraced. He will be a disaster against Obama, because he just isn’t that different from him.
I hope Newt will stay in at least through North Carolina.
I voted for the best man on the ballot today, and I have no regrets or apologies to make.
They declared him the winner weeks ago.
They declared him the winner weeks ago.
Good on you and your wife, exit-— the fight continues.
Romney will be challenged in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. These three states are toss-ups and they'll be ones to watch on election night. He'll easily win the rest of the south. My prediction anyways.
You mean like when we called Romney "the conservative alternative to McCain"?
You okay, buddy?
TBF, when I was a young man, I played competitive sports. After losing to a superior team for the 3rd time, my coach put his hand on my shoulder and asked—”you ok?”— and I said, “I hope we meet the bastards in the playoffs.” -:)
Besides, I’m of Italian heritage. You got phone— I got wine.
I’m ok- thanks for asking. Hope the same for you- you worked hard.
FYI, the guy in the picture you posted is a well-known San Francisco leftist liar.
Gingrich to continue his NC events this week per Fox.
Also, here is the information for tonight's elections.
Delaware -17 winner take all
Connecticut 28 proportional
New York 92 Winner take all
Pennsylvania 78 delegates not bound
Rhode Island 19 proportional
His message suits me. The gop is sinking into the land of liberalism so it is appropriate IF it is a liberal or not..Romney and Obama are one in the same.
Thanks Utah Girl
“The GOP is dead to me.”
What took you so long?
Condolences to the Newt supporters.
Condolences to myself (a Santorum supporter).
Condolences to the nation.
Wrong, true conservatives are in the minority - they voted for Newt. The ONLY conservative candidate besides Perry who couldn’t be bought!
Thanks to C.C. for the excellent graphic.
Besides, Im of Italian heritage. You got phone I got wine.
Im ok- thanks for asking. Hope the same for you- you worked hard.
I am very glad to hear that... It isn't over, and as far as I am concerned, we are in the boats, amidst the ice floes, on our way to Tampa...
We can show them how it's done - how you don't give up no matter the odds, how the measure of the battle tempers you and you face reality and still go on, and how standing fast for your principles, when everyone else around is looking for the bus home... are just as important as the number of votes and primary wins...
In some ways, that is a more honorable battle than just fighting Romney and the GOP...
Gonna have me a glass of wine, or two, when I get home tonight...
You are an inspiration to many Patriots!! God bless you.
Newt has clean hands.
The guys was a Democratic Operative, he was lying since he wasn’t a member of the GOP.
That is good! I am going to borrow it:)
Is Del aware?
The words are appropriate. Heck even Soros endorsed Romney..he could carry the sign. Last I heard so did Jimmy Carter
Too many republicans like my mom. They have no stomach for the kind of battle Newt would take to Obama. They just want a “safe”, non-threatening, feel good candidate like Romney.
Time now to focus on taking the Senate, and increasing our majority in the House. That’s the best way to direct the nation’s future.
Reality is a majority of voters don’t deserve or appreciate America as they gave it away and tainted forever with the blood of a baby killer on them and the blood of those who fought for this country. That’s the reality.
