fresh meat call :-(
In a word, no.
Not a chance.
She doesn’t seem like the type who would handcuff herself to a suicide bomber.
Puh-leeze. It won’t get *my* vote. I know her too well. Now that she’s elected, she’s vetoing laws from the right with the same gusto she did when she first inherited the office from Nappy. She only signed 1070 because she was looking into the teeth of a tough election in ‘10.
Once her status as nominee was assured, it was back to “screw you TEA Party.”
Her conservative record is soft at best. Didn’t she veto a gun bill recently?
Not a chance. Romney will try to get what HE thinks is a conservative, but it will be a boring conservative, if one at all. Think Pawlenty, Daniels, Thune. The craziest he might get is the governor of NM, anx she would be wise to decline. Rubio would certainly decline.
NO - she’s like Jindal - seems to have an opportunity to really really take it to Obama handed them - seems to engage the battle - but then really doesn’t put the hammer down.
Just like the episode in the photo, she downtalked the nature of the intensity after it was done. Not what we need.
The drilling moratorium, and the Arizona law, are issues that a real bulldog would have really made interesting. Jindal and Brewer were just so so IMO on these golden opportunities.
Romney’s already on record saying he’s got to win the Hispanic vote or it could spell doom for him.
Thinking Liberal Romney is going to choose Breyer is a pipe dream. Romney’s a lot more concerned about winning liberals at this point that conservatives.
I bet Romney picks a VP well left of his campaign speeches but right of Romney’s record, if only because he can’t find anyone in the GOP left of Romney’s record.
His focus now is going to be Obama. Time to Etch-a-Sketch any resemblence to a conservative and show the world he is a more palatable liberal than Obama.
NO!!!
hahahahahahaha! funny...thanks for the laugh. Clever you are.
Rubio is auditioning for the VP nomination with a big foreign policy speech to polish his creds.
Could you please tell me why you say that about Rubio? I do not know enough about him. Thanks.
Is it just me or is there really no one who seems to want the VP spot with Romney?
Yes, a couple. I carry in my car, and because of her veto there are public streets in Tempe upon which I cannot legally drive.
She’s tax and spend and good at rubberstamping whatever the party says she should. She just might make it.
She really isn’t nearly the governor conservative web followers think, you guys only here the good stuff, which is usually her doing what she’s told.
Not really dumb, but certainly not polished.... these local radio guys in Tucson refer to her as “the frazzled Avon Lady”
See cripplecreek’s #5 post.
I’m hoping he’ll put his differences aside and pick Rick Perry.
Thanks. That is fairly self explanatory isn’t it?
None of those would decline, be serious.
I like that suggestion...would bolster his Tea party creds and I like him.And it’s all about me!!!!
Wow! That is insane.
No. Brewer’s a tough broad but doesn’t speak/ debate well, stammering much of the time. We have so many fine options that include GOOD COMMUNICATORS who WON’T SIT STILL FOR LEFTIST MEDIA CRAP.
SHould make her Ambassador to Mexico, just to stick it in the craw of the current Mexican regime.
No, you be serious. Rubio is a rising star that can go on his own in 2016 or 2020. Tieing his wagon to Romney is an iffy and unnecessary proposition. Do you doubt that the VP spot is ever rejected, even if not publicly?

Liberals like Brewer think it’s perfectly sane. If a street runs through a University or College, then it’s a “gun-free” zone.
She’s not a conservative.
Ha ha.
He’d pick Palin before he did that.
You're correct, she's not even close. But people like to pretend she is. Which makes her perfect for scum like Romney, wouldn't you say?
Didn’t an eligibility law get to her desk and get vetoed?
I like a lot of her feistyness, but she does have too many “soft” views. Romney really needs a really strong conservative.
That is the exact thing I have a problem with in Christie. He is very fun to watch and hear speak and you think he is one of us, then you look at what he actually does and believes, and it is a total disappointment.
Little Jan?
I doubt it. He may not be what I want in a President, but he ain’t stupid. I hope.
Yes, but she claimed it was too broad and demanded too many records, even baptismal records, not just proof of eligibilty.
There will be NO women considered as VP for mormon Romney. Count on it.
Even Palin as VP won’t bring me to vote for the RINO this time. I’ve had it. Romney will be every bit as bad for this country as Obama, he’ll just be slower to implement his totalitarian agenda. And what we need now is for people to FEEL the pain of the Obamunist regime to push the pendulum back toward a Constitutional order.
No blacks, no women.
Well now, all of you that participated in the evisceration of Gov Rick Perry, and to those of you who stood by and allowed it to happen to a true Family man who is staunchly pro-life, a man who served his country with honor, believes in a strong defense, states rights, energy independence, small government, a man who is a true ally to Israel (the best friend we had in the barbaric area called the Middle East) and a man who has a true love for this Nation and its people that had the experience to right this ship, all of you deserve whatever hell is coming. The thing is, you are dragging the rest of the reasonable, thinking people along with you.
Due to the absolute irrationality and unreasonable demands of perfection, we now have Romney. Thank you. I'm sure you were quite representative of the stiff necked, thick skulled people that scream they're conservative, until a true conservative runs then it's time to bring out faults from 20 years ago. Contempt doesn't even begin to describe what you deserve.
As far as Gov Perry putting differences aside, he will do what is right for the country and will support the nominee. He probably will not like it in this case, but he loves this country more and realizes that Barack Hussein Obama is the true enemy of this country and of her people.
Romney makes my skin crawl personally but I will vote. Unfortunately, if Free Republic is any indication, many will 'sit' out or vote 3rd party. Pity really, that those of you who pulled that stunt in 2008, are going to do it again. McCain part deux. And McCain was actually a stronger candidate than this thing that has bought his 'turn' in the procession. So I expect the same results only this time, it will finally slay the United States of America, that once great nation that will be a footnote in history one day. The commies thank you all.
We cant like her. Someone called her a RINO yesterday, so we need to remove her.
Gays are cool.
I think so. Arizona doesn’t even have local conservative talk radio anymore - just Barry Young and his female co-host making fun of Senator Russell Pearce and all things conservative.
Prolly be Portman. Ohio is a must win state.
If Obama gets a second term, we ALL go down!
2 or 3 SC Justices and however many other appointments, there will be NO going back.
