Having visited southern China,Hong Kong and Singapore several times in the last few years and being one who regularly visits NYC I'm well aware of that.Of course our home grown tree worshipers choose to ignore that essential fact.

Actually, productive and prosperous countries tend to have less pollution than average.

And BTW...they don't tend to have *somewhat* less pollution,they tend to have *dramatically* less pollution...both in absolute terms and on a per capita basis.
