Last night Liz Butler and Joy Cushman of MoveOn.org hosted a National Major Actions conference call to discuss with fellow left-wing activists a slough of direct actions in the coming months.
Among those plans are a series of continuous disruptions and demonstrations against banks, corporations, and anyone they deem to be members of the 1 percent. The call aimed to motivate activists looking to dig in deeper to their commitment to dismantling the American economy.
Actions began yesterday by shutting down the Wells Fargos share-holder meeting in San Francisco and were touted on the call. According to the L.A. Times, over a thousand protesters stormed the Mercantile Exchange Building and attempted to enter the meeting and demand Wells Fargo halt foreclosures, end investments in prison-management companies, end high-interest lending, and forgive mortgage debts to underwater borrowers. Some shareholders were unable to enter the meeting and eight demonstrators were cited for trespassing.
The success in San Francisco was used to boost morale and amp up the other callers to plan further actions in the coming months. Their strategy is to target banks and other corporations' shareholder meetings, then to coordinate with other activists and organizations around the country to conduct simultaneous actions, which they call echo actions, in other cities, as a show of solidarity with the specific target action that day.
Also discussed on the call was The99Spring.com, which was launched in February this year and is being used as an organizing and training platform to plan and schedule attacks against the One Percent. The site features a designated Actions page featuring upcoming events across the country. Featured at the top of the page are the targets and actions, which include shareholder meetings of GE, Verizon, Walmart, Sallie Mae, and Bank of America, as well as May Day marches

So basically we paid a trillion dollars to send these kids to grievance studies programs and this is what we got for our money.
All white-bread rich kids. Nice smiling future targets for the police when the riots break out. The police will know who the ringleaders of the violence are, and a grand jury will make short thrift of them.
Next group photo: On their way to jail for rioting, etc.
this is what we got for our money.
Oh no, this is just the beginning...

When weak, appear strong, this pulls the undecided in.
Move on= communist recruiting club. Of course they will deny this while preaching communist docturn in the same breathe. Do they realize how stupid they look doing this poorly disguised attempt at recruiting communists.
These sweet young things ought to be careful about that 1% - after all, the 1% is where The Messiah goes to extort the money to run his campaign.

Capacity-Building for Occupy Together The Ruckus Society Supports #OccupyTogether! October 2011: The U.S. has caught Occupy fever! The Occupy movement has spread across the country and now across the globe at a remarkable rate over the past month. The Occupation at Wall Street has led news cycles day in and day out, and occupations have sprung up in hundreds of locations across the country. A populist rising from the left has finally taken hold, and wrestled the air waves away from the Tea Party. Mainstream
America is talking about the root causes of our problems at a systemic level. Political discourse is finally being pulled to the left for the first in a very long time. This is an exciting and truly game-changing political moment for our movements for justice! But success lies in our ability to effectively harness the massive energy that has developed, to not only sustain the occupations, but propel the movement forward towards real changes for the 99%. And we at Ruckus know that we cannot afford to waste this opportunity.
The incredible growth of this movement has created serious capacity needs that must be met to sustain the movement and continue its exceptional growth. Luckily, Ruckus was designed for exactly this type of moment. With Ruckus’s decentralized network of highly experienced activists spread across the U.S. and Canada we have the unique capability and flexibility to plug in to many Occupations simultaneously.
Many of our trainers have been on the ground at Occupy Wall Street or their hometown Occupations since Day 1; and many more are plugging in every day, or are ready to be deployed to where the needs are greatest.
Ruckus is taking a multi-pronged approach to supporting the Occupy movements, working as a cohesive network of skilled direct action trainers and practitioners, and with our allies in other training networks and base-building community organizing groups to support local occupations and coordinate nationwide collaborative efforts to create a strong and unified movement. With our allies, we are helping convene a national training and capacity-building project for the Occupations, to: Assess needs on the ground Provide trainings for occupy activists in nonviolent direct action, strategic planning, facilitation, legal/know your rights, media, and more Set up and run secure technology and communications systems, and share these tools with others Host Trainings for Trainers, to grow the movement’s skill-sharing capacity exponentially Mentor less experienced activists by pairing them with veteran organizers Develop local and national action strategies to propel the movement forward
The needs are great, but the energy is greater, and Ruckus was born ready for this. We have jumped in with both feet, and our network of trainers is eagerly using this opportunity to share its decades of experience, skills, and strategic insight to help develop new leadership, infrastructure, and movement strategy in this critical moment. We know a good movement-organizing opportunity when we see one, and this is it!

Q. Why is the web sign-up form hosted on a MoveOn.org page? MoveOn.org donated its event registration technology to the 99% Spring, which is why the 99% Spring registration page is hosted at MoveOn.org.
http://www.earthfirstjournal.org/article.php?id=534 This looks like the point that the Deep Green Resistance movement merged with Occupy: If Deep Green Resistance & the Occupy movement merged Reflections from Greece, Fall 2011 By panagioti,
Earth First! Journal editorial collective “Imagine, as many of you already probably have, if thousands of people occupied local refineries, roads, ports, oil and mining extraction sites, etc. in other words, imagine if people occupied the locations where the 1% destroy the land and exploit humans... Imagine their stock prices falling, their cash flow being interrupted, their ability to get loans and/or expand productiona euphemism for converting living beings into dead productsfinished. Imagine if we were able to stop them, stop the 1%. Literally. Not symbolically.” from DGRs open Letter to the occupy movement

“May Day Protests” = Something commie wannabes do.
A kid in college...owing $90k in student loans by the time he finishes school...gets arrested arrested for destruction of property or assault....ends up with a police record. The odds of the kid getting a $40k a year job? Less than twenty-five percent. The record is something that most major companies would figure out. Wanna work for the government....if it requires a clearance...you have to admit the arrest, which means more questions.
Some advice for punks spending $90k for college....don’t even hang out with idiots who plan property destruction or assaulting people...it’s just the wrong crowd.
They could all claim to be gay. That will put them in a Preferred Group second only to Blacks.
