President Obama's 'celebrity status' reached perplexing new levels last night on comedian Jimmy Fallon's comedy show last night. After watching this sketch, I think it's fair to say that he has 'jumped the shark.'
Last night on the Jimmy Fallon show, Obama "slow jammed" with Jimmy Fallon and his band about his plan to freeze interest rates for student loans, criticizing filibustering Republicans for blocking his plan.
Warning that the interest rates for student loans will 'double,' Obama warned that "some hard working students would be paying about $1000 extra just to get their education."
"There are some in Congress disagree," Obama said, backed up with jazzy music. "They say that keeping the interest rate low isn't a way to help our students, they say that we should be doing everything we can to pay down the national debt, well, so long as it doesn't includes taxing billionaires."
"But their position is that students just have to make that student rate increase work," Obama states. "Frankly, I don't buy it."
"The Barack-ness monster ain't buying it," Fallon croons.

Its funny hearing Obama trash Billionaires, he sure has no problem hanging with them and collecting money from them for his re-election campaign
What about that house the Mooch and the Mooch Juniors stayed in while on their ski trip to Aspen? The press conveniently ignore the fact that there are super rich liberals that support them. It’s bad to be a rich white Republican, but perfectly fine if you are a rich dem.
I think, Newt, Mitt and Ron need to throw the Equal-Time provision at NBC.
How is changing the loan rate changing the cost of college? Of course it’s not, really, at least not as much as the 5-7% annual increases in tuitions, which amount to much more expensive college than a 3.8% increase in loan rates.
Why don’t they leave the rates the same for those who already have loans and allow the old rates (equal to the newly doubled rates) go into effect for new loans? Everyone will know what they are getting into ahead of time. They could then easily choose to serve their country in the military to earn their future tuitions.
Obama hopes that the doe eyed base will forget that he is a millionaire.
The kids are concerned about how to pay for cellphone service and food; most jobs available to them will not pay very much.
There is just not a lot for someone aged 5 to 75 to look forward to in another Obama term; he’ll have to fight for everyvote he can get. It isn’t 2008 anymore; there is no more media hype for this loser.
