Herman Cain returned to the spotlight last night for the inaugural interview for The Daily Show's "Inside the PoliticalCurtain," a new segment hosted by John Oliver that parodies James Lipton's "Inside The Actor's Studio." In the interview, Oliverrevisitssomeof The Hermanator's most memorable moments from his short-lived 2012 primary campaign — including his "Ubeki-beki-stan" comment and the infamous Libya gaffe — and allows Cain to offer explanationsfor his gaffes.

Wish Cain could have somehow found a way to hang in there and win. He would have been FAR better than the garbage the republicans are going to run now. No matter what one thinks of the “Daily Show”, Cain can go on a show like that and hit a home run. No way Mittens could do such a thing.
