It's actually an admission of a total Democrat blindspot about unemployment.

We are short about 20 million jobs. 53% of college graduates for the last 5 years are unemployed, and 47% of them are employed outside the fields they trained for.

If you've never had a job you don't get unemployment payments. Plus, what "Job training" are you going to give someone when there are no jobs to go into?

The Democrats are stuck in the UNION trickbag. They cannot connect with the voting public on the "jobs" issue.

Totally agree! This is not a choice between entitlement cuts or entitlement increases, this is a choice between some cuts to save the programs or no programs at all (when they dry up). If they want to keep their benefits they should vote for the cuts. Someone needs to wake these folks up.
