"We're headed in the right direction. Unemployment continues to drop and those people who are unemployed, they're not going to be voting for the party who wants to cut their benefits, cut access to food stamps, cut job training," Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-PA) said on MSNBC's Al Sharpton program.

A small issue is being left out..........I thought the law was that how long you can collect has to do with the States unemployment rate. Like Wisc. rate went down so their unemployed will not get to collect as long as other states with higher unemployment rates................

Yet it’s somehow “shocking” and “uncivil” if we say that the Democrats’ real goal is for the country to fail...

Democrats, my foot...It's time for you people to wake up...

"It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance."

President George Bush
addressing the General Assembly
of the U.N., February 1,1992

Obama and Romney are on the same team...

Good. Go for it.

The unemployed who prior to being on the dole had good jobs and good prospects don’t like this.

Welfare recipients like being welfare recipients.

Those who worked and cannot find jobs aren’t going to SETTLE for a life with no prospects and no hope.

88 88 88 88 88 million are out of work and off the rolls with no hope because of the democrats.

Want to stay on the government teat for the rest of your life? Vote Democrat.

Until America becomes a pure dictatorship and the money stops flowing to those on welfare. Dictators do not share. Democrats are communists.

Can I steal what you said and put it on my FB? Freepers say things so well!!! Also, I think I will add...and who do you think will pay for the INTEREST on your student loan? Small Business! Businesses who, then, will NOT have the money to HIRE YOU!

This makes as much sense as tupac shakur, back from the dead, doing an interview with "Matta Worldpeace" about black violence and how to stop it.

With the real unemployment number in the 15% area, where will the jobs come from to fufill all this “job training”? This has always been a pet peeve of mine, job trainig is just another money transfer program.

I cannot believe that meat head said that on national TV. The Romney Campaign needs to play that clip in an ad that says: "If you're unemployed, Barack Obama, and the Democrats, have such low regard for your character that they think you'd rather be drawing Unemployment benefits than working."

53% of college graduates for the last 5 years are unemployed, and......If you've never had a job you don't get unemployment payments.

True. And what about the people whose benefits have run out and they have NOTHING? I'm sure that they won't be able to get to the polls fast enough to vote for Obama. (Tongue in cheek.)

Student loans are not dischargeable in a court. They are nearly as good as a mortgage and certainly better than a car loan ~ cars, after all, depreciate pretty rapidly.

So, what is the market value of those loans, in terms of interest? With mortgages available at 3%, and car loans available at 4%, maybe 3.5% would be appropriate. But what will the banks offer? It'll probably be over 7%!

That, BTW, is a ripoff for a non-dischargeable government guaranteed loan!

The fact Obama and his crowd are threatening the students with a higher than market interest on these loans ought to tell you a lot about Obama ~
