Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) on Thursday blasted an Environmental Protection Agency official’s claim that the agency was using a “crucify them” strategy against oil and gas companies, calling it a part of President Barack Obama’s “war on domestic energy.”
“Let’s keep in mind, this is all a part of Obama’s war on domestic energy,” Inhofe said on “Fox & Friends.” “He’s the one who said that we have good natural gas and it’s plentiful and all of that but we’ve got to stop hydraulic fracturing. This is the war on hydraulic fracturing.”
Inhofe, the ranking member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, had announced on Wednesday that he was launching an investigation into an EPA official’s comments from 2010 that were caught on tape, in which he compared the agency’s enforcement policies to how the Romans used to “crucify” people.
“I was in a meeting once and I gave an analogy to my staff about my philosophy of enforcement, and I think it was probably a little crude and maybe not appropriate for the meeting but I’ll go ahead and tell you what I said,” EPA Region 6 Administrator Al Armendariz says in the video.

Crucify is the main operational policy of this administration and to be be fair, the Federal government in general regardless of who is in the White Hut.
IRS, DOJ, DHS, FBI, EPA, FDA, to just name a few. They all follow this example of crucify to set the tone, put everyone on notice, send a message that the brute force of an unlimited government can come down on you.
How about the banking industry being threatened by the IRS to take bailout money even if they did not need it otherwise they would face years of audits.
This is EXACTLY what the Founders risked life and fortune to prevent for future generations and we have pi$$ed it away and allowed Marxist central planners to gain control over the Oval Office, congress, USSC, just about every department of this and that.

Obama’s bizarre war on carbon energy sources is contracting the economy and is causing real misery. Energy costs are rising and people are unemployed. The ideologues at EPA and Dept. of Energy are implementing the Kyoto treaty and the Copenhagen accords without Congressional authorization. Its a shame that these people will never experience the misery they are causing.When they leave office, they will simply return to their tenured positions at tax supported universities or tax sheltered foundations.
