A rally in the Crenshaw district is bringing together prominent black leaders, the family of Trayvon Martin and plenty of celebrities to keep the public’s attention on the recent killings of young black men.
The Los Angeles chapter of the NAACP is hosting the family of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin at a rally at a South L.A. church. They're joined by the reverends Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson — and they're joined by celebrities Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and Magic Johnson.
The Martins were the first to come out to the audience’s applause, holding signs which displayed the now-famous picture of Trayvon Martin staring straight into a camera with his hoodie on.
It’s the two-month anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s shooting by a neighborhood watch commander, George Zimmerman. Zimmerman has now been charged with second degree murder and is out on bail.
Aside from Martin’s shooting, the organizers wanted to call attention to and demand justice for the killings of other young black men since last year. That list starts with Oscar Grant in Oakland, and goes on to include Kendrec McDade in Pasadena and Earl Anthony Dunn in Compton.
What the NAACP characterizes as profiling the rational man defines as statistical significance.
Mom and Dad are pimping their thug son’s death for profit just like AL and Jessie.

I have a serious problem with this based on the fact that none of the black on white crimes are addressed here. What about the couple in Tennessee, or the countless “beat downs” of whites across the nation (Memphis, Chicago, Atlanta, etc.) which the main stream press refuses to bring to light.
I can think of just one example of the white woman in NY going to the mall to buy Christmas gifts for “under privileged yutes” when some of those misguided yutes chose to drop a shopping cart on her head. I call BS!
Why not go all out and claim he was the "supreme commandante" of the neighborhood watch?

It’s about time for the “NAWP” to start holding rallies wherever there is black on white crime.
Any bets on if they pointed out the fact that the vast majority of perpetrators of crime (violent) on blacks... is by their fellow people?

Damn, if they’d just acknowledge their son was beating the hell out of Zimmerman, they could quit this charade...the mother of Zimmerman’s attacker ALREADY let America know her TRUE feelings—on the Today show—until she was obviously taken to task by the lawyers and Sharpton crowd....
Everyone is unhappy with what happened, even the man who defended his life—but this just keeps the problem going on and on and on and on....
How about this: a stable family for people like Zimmerman’s attacker? How about this: discipline at an early age? How about this: not allowing young black men to refer to themselves as “no limit ni**as” on twitter? That’d be a good start to helping end things like this....

I have that same problem. St Trayvon’s family, the NAACP, amd the media are not spotlighting black-on-black crime, they are spotlighting the supposed problem of whites targeting blacks. The proper concern from us, then, is the inordinate majority of interracial crime is black-on-white. That is the fact and the truth as backed up by statistics. The disparity in black-on-white murder, and even more, rape, is horrendous. The rapes and murders are often utterly barbaric and savage. They are the very definition of a “hate crime” rather than the teasing out of the possibiblity that someone may have called a name in the commission of a garden-variety shooting (even after disproved, and after being a clearly spirious charge in the first place). WHO gives a d*mn about all the many more white victims of black crime, many committed wih brutal savagery and sadism, taking absolute joy in the agony of their victims and drawing it out to great lengths, reminding one of nothing so much than the brutalities committed in the Congo and Rwanda?

At rallies and church services, thousands of dollars in pledges have been made to help them pay expenses including travel to events.
Note to self: If your scared $hitle$$ of black kids with skittles, then you should stay home, and not follow them.
Too bad for them that people even in the "Crenshaw" district are working their asses off trying to support their families. Sometimes surviving is the priority - an under-reported story these days in Obamaville.

These rallies are just a prelude to what is going to happen when GZ walks.
They have this nonsense “blame deflection” rallies in St. Louis from time to time. They march a little bit, release some balloons, make garish memorials with stuffed animals tied on a street light next to where the decedant lay, and four blocks over, it’s the ever present sound of someone burning through a magazine.
This is going on in every major and minor city in the US.
It will NEVER end.

Then you are quite naive. The reason the loaded term “gated community” is featured in nearly every press account is that it helps them form a narrative. The fact that there’s a front gate isn’t newsworthy otherwise.
As usual, conveniently ignoring the fact that most violent crimes against blacks and within their community are committed by other blacks.

Yep - I wonder if it will ever strike them that they are capitalizing on their son's death. If it does, I wonder if it will bother them. I don't recall any stories about the "father" raising hell to find out where Cute-ums was while he lay in the morgue for over a week.
Any honkies there? How about Samoans? Did MS-13 sit in the audience? Any Vietnamese or Eskimoes there? If not, the NAACP is racist, LA is racist and the racist South L.A. church is racist.
