President Obama and the First Lady spoke to soldiers at Fort Stewart on the Georgia coast today in order to discuss an executive order the President would be signing that would crackdown on scams used to bilk veterans out of their federal education benefits. Towards the end of the President's speech, the tune shifted towards a hyper partisan tirade hailing big government spending. The speech invoked much of same rhetoric the President had employed during his recent official campaign-like stump speeches.

Lots of booing and a few jeers as Obama forces Socialist ideals upon our troops.
did he mention the increased cost of tri care, and the screwing our troops out of combat pay..
I tried, by I just cannot listen to that pompous marxist ass without getting angry.
I was going to ask for a transcript.
Somehow the oozing satanic ideology is more palatable when I read it than hear it delivered by his spokesman.
“...Each of us is only here because somebody looked out for us. Not just our parents, but our neighbors and our communities and our houses of worship and our VFW halls. Because we had a country that was willing to invest in things like community colleges and universities and scientific research and medicine and caring for our veterans. Each of us is only here because somebody somewhere had our backs. Because generations of Americans worked together. Out of many we are one. Those are values we gotta return to...
Collectivist pablum...
Once the speech had ended, the crowd of Marines cautiously clapped to what they had just heard.
Thanks...
I see a pattern of “extrapolation” here.
Yes, families are the main unit of support, churches the next level.
Beyond that, it becomes a matter of coercion.
And that’s where the line has to be drawn.
“It takes a village...”
There is that ridiculous new campaign slogan they are pimping this year.
There was a thread on this earlier today.
I wonder if there was a group of obese black women wearing military uniforms in the front row, who would at intervals, faint?
He used that extensively in the 2008 race, to the point where it was expected at his rallies. Always around half a dozen obese black women in the front row would put on a big show of fainting during his speech.
The technique used to be used, maybe still is, in black churches, to make special services memorable to the congregants. It is one of many secrets of mass psychological manipulation long in use at “rallies” of all sorts (including Nuremberg by you-know-who).
Looks to me like Moochelle had to start the clapping because she realized no one else was going to.
“spoke to soldiers at Fort Stewart on the Georgia coast today in order to tout an executive order the President would “...............
“Once the speech had ended, the crowd of Marines cautiously clapped to what they had just heard.”
i did not see any Marines..........
“Each of us is only here because somebody looked out for us.
This is the lie of socialism. We are “here” both because of self-responsibility and the totality of everything that has gone on before us, whether intended to benefit us or not.
This communist statement ignores self-responsibility and the contributions of others that benefit us that doesn’t fit their view of altruism.
By undermining self-responsibility, the socialists do harm. This is so obvious, I’ll not dwell on it.
What I will comment on, instead, is whether altruism actually is beneficial. This is problematic. Unenlightened attempts to help others often lead to lives of unhappiness, uselessness and even anti-social behavior.
In contrast, self-interested behavior in the marketplace, if honest, motivates people to lives that are happy and rewarding.
The problems, then, are twofold: On the “do-gooing” side, it is to actually benefit others when do-gooding. And, on the self-interested side, it is to restrain the dishonesty, cheating, theft and fraud that self-interestedness might otherwise result in.
Simple-minded people like the idiot in the White House disgrace only themselves when they confuse ignorance with self-righteousness.
Gee Mr. President, I thought that I was here because men fought and died for my freedom.
That- and nobody told my mom to have an abortion at planned abortion-hood.
The First “Lady” appears at Ft. Steward in a SUN DRESS??!!!! How undignified and unprofessional! Pleeeze! Someone teach this woman proper decorum!
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Out of many we are one.
Holy Cow, “we are one”, that’s like a certified socialist union Slogan.
I’m going to conjecture that someone wanting to put any service in a bad light would say they were Marines. Can’t have the Army not being excited about the Community organizer In Chief. Those who hate the military want the Marines gone. Just my opinion. My Marine doesn’t always agree with me either. :)
Presstitue doesn’t know the difference between Army Soldiers and Marines.
Each of us is only here because somebody looked out for us.
This statement would be made only by someone who has no idea of the military culture or mindset. IMO, the entire speech sounded like pandering. Example: the new bill designed to “protect” military men/women/families from fraud, abuse, scams. AS IF military men/women/families aren’t smart enough to take care of themselves.
Did he remind the troops that he killed Osama Bin Laden?
It takes a village...
And a village organizer...
Another campaign rant on the taxpayer’s dime.
The marxist in chief also injected “ alienation” :
” alienation
Under capitalism, Marx points out, the human condition is one of alienation, i.e., human beings are estranged from their world, in terms of work, social relations, and so on. His goal was to help workers re-connect with themselves and with the world around them. Once the working class became conscious of these facts—he predicted—it would act to overthrow capitalist society and establish a new form of classless society. “
By discussing collectivism he also pointed out how “ capitalism “ alienates the proletariat .
Barry/Hussein is a marxist lunatic. Only the truly ignorant cannot connect his words with Marxs` words.
I was thinking in the line of Legion or the Borg.
Holy Cow, we are one, thats like a certified socialist union Slogan
It may have been meant that way, or simply as "E Pluribus Unum" (which means "Out of many we are one") that has been on the US Seal since about the time there was a USA......(from the 13 colonies - 1).
No, that is the point! This is a freudian slip or a deliberate bludgeoning of E Pluribus Unum ...
“Out of many, one” is the right way to express it, not “we are one”.
“We are One” is a socialist union chant and has been adopted by the Occupy folks. See:
http://local.americawantstowork.org/all
http://www.facebook.com/werunited
Given these are left-wing “We Are One” campaigns going on RIGHT NOW, as part of the class warfare 99% campaign, it’s likely this was a deliberate ‘dog whistle’ to his leftist supporters.
Please do not confuse what I am about to say and think that I support any of this crap.
However, the unfortunate truth is that many are not smart enough (primarily the new ones). While the average military guy is relatively smart......there are many out there that are not so smart. I used to remind my guys every Friday that BEFORE they attempted to purchase ANYTHING costing more than $1000 they HAD to call me FIRST.
The professional scam artist loves to prey on new militry guys. There used to be a scam where this place would send a bus to Camp Lejeune with bikini clad women on board. They would hand out fliers depicting half-decent looking cars and offer the Marines a free, that's right folks free, bus ride to the super-awesome dealership near Virginia Beach abord the fun bus with theses lovely ladies. When they got to the "dealership" the cars in the add were nowhere to be found...just broken down jalopies. Of course on the rides there were free....there was no return trip. But say, looks like you're in need of transportation......people would still by these crappy cars at near usury rates of interest.
This doesn't count other dealerhips that would drive on base (and advertise "we'll pick you up) and escort you to dealerships over an hour's drive away - rides back are of course available in the parking lot, if you'll just sign here. I know from personal experience after one of my problem children purchased a USED crappy car for $23K (that wasn't even worth 16K NEW) at no kidding 19.99% interest for 72 months.
Another favorite is financing only $75 a week for car stereos/furniture. $75 sounds like low payments and before you know it the servicemember is using payday loans every week.
It is so bad that you get literally FORCED to sit through classes at minimum once per year....and still these guys find a way to take out mortgages on nonsense garbage.
Jacksonville, NC also has it's very own Veteran's Affairs company that is in no way shape or form relate to the actual Veteran's Affairs...this private company will assist you in squandering your paycheck. It has been listed on the "Off limits establishments list" aka the "black list" since I can remember.
Everyone's favorite...Fort Steal National Bank (actually Fort Sill). They provide you with your direct deposit and bank account....it is near mandatory you get an account with them while at Parris Island. The sit you down in a room and you are told to fill out the paperwork because you have to have a bank account for direct deposit. Many switch accounts to Navy Federal or Marine Federal Credit Union on "family day" or graduation day. Those that do not regret it. I actually had ATM receipts showing I withdrew $20 and bank statements that said $40...no joke. The manager informed me "ATM receipts are not accurate."
Anyhow publik screwl doesn't teach financial responsibility. Many of today's parents don't teach it. Many a-young servicemember is experiencing his first time away from home combined with his first steady paycheck. Not to mention you have just become an 'elite' member of America's military machine....not only are you certifiably invinciable, you know everything.
I certainly assure you it is easy to identify newbies (aka "boots") and can further assure you that a good number will be victimized by predatory businesses ( I agree and am all about personal responsibility - you make a stupid decision, you get a stupid outcome) during their first tour.
You would be surprised at how many are NOT smart enough to handle it.
Any mention of the pond scum RATs conspiring to keep military votes from being counted again???
No mention, but we know the rats will try it ............................................ FRegards
Have given up thinking this so called first lady will ever learn how to dress. The best designers and all that taxpayer money at her disposal and still she mostly wears gaudy, cheap looking clothes.
