An Arizona-based firearms company says it is being treated unfairly by Bank of America for the type of business it does, a claim the bank denies.
Kelly McMillian, operations director of the McMillian companies which makes rifles, ammunition, gunstocks and related firearms equipment said a bank vice president explained at a meeting last week that he no longer wanted McMillan's business because the companies manufacture firearms.
This has nothing to do with our financial position, McMillian said Friday. He said the bank needed to assess the risk of doing business with a firearms manufacturer.
McMillian said he was also visited Thursday by another Bank of America executive with essentially the same message and was not even offered an opportunity to restructure his debt or make some other deal, though his company has never missed a payment or bounced a check.

Real Americans still do business with Bank of the Northern Hemisphere?? I thought they only worked with multinationals, college kids that wanted a free t-shirt, muzzie terrorists, and illegal mexicans.
Screw BoA! What a horrible company.
Chin up McMillian, there’s plenty of bank that will welcome your business.
Your right, that does it. We pulled most of our money out but now it’s all gotta go.
Maybe we need a bank for Gun Owners of America only. Does this bank expect armed officials to guard/protect their assets? Kind of talking out of both sides of their mouth.
Bank of America had to be bailed out and was the worst at making mortgage loans to illegal aliens. I wouldn’t want to do business with them.
Imagine a Bank not taking on an abortion Clinic.
Nothing prevents the State of Arizona from revoking their privilege of doing business in this State, And personally I think thats what should happen, right after the State and this company sues them for Discrimination.
