A Bernalillo County Commissioner with a history of making inappropriate sexual comments in Albuquerque may be in more trouble half way around the world.
A Seattle photographer, who has been documenting sex tourism in the Philippines, told KOB’s 4 On Your Side team he had a disturbing conversation with Commissioner Michael Wiener in Angeles City, the second largest sex tourism city in the world.
Photographer John Keatley has posted several pictures he took of Wiener standing with four scantily clad bar girls last month on his Internet blog.
Weiner said nothing inappropriate happened and that he and his girlfriend were just walking through the district, waiting to catch a plane out of the city.
Keatley claimed he heard Wiener make a racy comment to the girls. “He basically said right when he got up to have his picture taken with the girls, ‘Hey don't touch my penis... Ah hah just kidding - you can touch it.’”
Wiener denied saying that.
“I may have made a comment like don't get too close to my girlfriends here, but I didn't mention anything like that,” Wiener said.
Keatley also claimed the commissioner also told him to relax and enjoy the ‘walking street.’
“He told us what a good time could be had in Angeles City if you just opened yourself up to it,” Keatley said.
The photographer also said it appeared Wiener seemed to know the district well.
“He was trying to get us to switch our hotels because this other hotel we were staying at would really cater to us having a good time. It was very wink, wink, nudge, nudge,” Keatley said. “He seemed surprised that we didn’t have girls yet. It was kind of like, come on- open your self up have a good time kind of thing.”
Wiener denied staying at a hotel in Angeles City.
In fact, Wiener told Investigative Reporter Gadi Schwartz he was only there with his girlfriend while the couple waited for a flight to visit his nine-year-old daughter, who lives in another town in the island country.
Wiener, who faces a Republican primary opponent in June, said he hopes politics is not behind the photographer’s blog post, but Keatley said he never met Wiener before March and does not even know who he is running against.
Keatley said he did not even know Wiener was an elected official until looking him up on Facebook after meeting him on the mean streets of Angeles City.
Seems that a wiener is always involved in sex scandals.

Honestly, I don’t see how it matters if this guy is enjoying a bit of LBFM r&r in the warm South Pacific. It apparently doesn’t matter to his girlfriend. The photographer seems like the real creep in all of this. All you have to do is look at his own hipster-ish picture to know that he is an ultra-liberal crusader, and it was dumb of Weiner to place any trust in the guy. A lot of the comments have been hilarious, though. :)

The girls in the photograph would be second and third tier compared to most "hostesses" on Magsaysay in my 70's-80's Aviation Navy days. I often feel bad for modern sailors who can't experience Olongapo it its heyday. Don't even know if our ships get liberty there anymore since the PI kick us out.

In my 70's-80's Navy days they were ALL woman. You're probably thinking of Singapore and Thailand. Filipina women are built like the proverbial brick sh*thouse with all the right equipment, but then so are Thai women and even prettier.

You obviously must not have visited Angeles City during the days when Clark U.S. Air Force Base was open and operating (Angeles City actually surrounded the old Clark U.S. Air Force Base). The only thing that has changed is the customer base, from U.S. Military to international tourist.
I talked with Air Force and even some Army veterans who served during the same time I did (late 1980's) and before who talked fondly about Clark AFB and Angeles City. They told me how they looked forward to missions where their tanker or transport plane was sent from their stateside bases to Clark AFB for a few days to a few weeks TDY. They knew it would be party time and a nice break from their relatively dull, stateside base routine.
I was stationed in Subic Bay for a couple of years in the late 1980's and I also made a few weekend trips up to AC (as we called it) for a little change of scenery or to escape Olongapo/Subic Bay when the fleet was in. I always thought the girls in Angeles were prettier than the ones in the Subic Bay/Olongapo area were :-).
I remember Field(s) Avenue was the main bar strip in Angeles during the base days (and still is from what I read) and that Avenue ran right along the perimeter of the old Clark AFB. Heck, I remember looking out over the Clark Base Cemetary and the Main Gate Monument from a couple of the bars while knocking back ice cold San Miguels and enjoying the female company.
Even today, there are still thousands of U.S. military (mainly Air Force), non-Filipino retirees and other veterans living in and around Angeles City, some twenty years after the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991 effectivly closed down Clark AFB. There are even active and thriving VFW and American Legion posts in Angeles City today.
As you can tell from this long post, even though I only made a few weekend visits to Angeles in my two years 'Station Dito' in Subic Bay, I still have fond memories of the place :-).
