New York Times publisher Arthur "Pinch" Sulzberger Jr has suddenly become the moose in the room that everybody now wants to talk about, including his disgruntled staffers...and Taiwanese animators who have produced an hilarious video about his bizarre management style (below the fold). The Taiwanese parody is based on a recent email sent by Times science and health reporter Don McNeil to about 150 fellow staffers.
Reading McNeil's explosive email, one gets the impression that Sulzberger's primary qualification to helm the Times was to live through birth:

NEW YORK (AP) - New York Times publisher Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr. has sported a black eye for several days after he was apparently the victim of a bike-by punching in midtown Manhattan.
(Quix, I am pinging you because the article under the link from the Daily Mail would never be published in an American journal and it is right up your alley.)
Violence should only occur for self defense. The perp should be located and arrested...

The NYT has been a shill for the left since before Walter Duranty. This could not have happened to a nicer guy. Pinch’s father once asked him, “If a young American soldier comes upon a young North Vietnamese soldier, which one do you want to see get shot?” Pinch responded, “I would want to see the American get shot. It’s the other guy’s country.”
Since the NYT have been shilling for the ChiComs from Mao Tse-tung to the present, it shouldn’t be surprising that free Chinese on Taiwan have long since gotten Pinch’s sorry number.
That’s a truly hateful thing he said about wishing the death of American soldiers. Right up there with Mike Wallace. Down there, I mean.
