If Romneycare is "conservative" than wouldn't Obamacare ALSO be "conservative"?

Myth is as liberal as ANY Democrat and he thinks we are stupid enough to go along with liberalism as long as he labels it as "conservative."

FUMR!

Great post Jim, the sooner the trolls leave, the sooner we can go back to being a CONSERVATIVE forum. I'm sick of having to debate with idiots who think we should support anyone with an "R" after their name.

Mitt Romney is a bridge too far.

That said, I don’t expect Romney to win but I encourage people to get out and vote for “SOMEONE” in November. 3rd party voters and write in voters can help save the downticket races. Personally I’ll probably be voting for Virgil Goode and those who want to write in a name, be sure to learn the correct way to do it in your states.

Yep...he truly is part of the Establishment Elite Progressive evil cancer that has taken over this country.

All he’ll do, should he win (ugh)...is take us down the SAME path at a SLOWER pace....putting people back to sleep, back to complacency....thinking everything is ok, so THEY can continue their evil NWO agenda.

NO THANK YOU. IMO, as much as I LOATHE Obama....if the country is going to fall...I want it to happen on HIS watch...with HIS party, so THEY get the FULL blame for it ALL!!!

God save us....it’ll take HIS hand to fix it right.

Romney most certainly is a fraud.

Why cast a vote for a guy who has no core values or base of support? He`s not going to be elected President. Take advantage of this opportunity to vote for a Presidential nominee who actually represents conservative values more than the clowns in the two legacy parties could ever hope.

On the European scale of being a conserative - a Fascist, or a communist - a Marxist, Romney is “conservative.”

He’s not a conservative in an American world view where we live in a constitutional Republic and fight to keep the fascists and marxists from taking it over. Mittens exists in a citizen of the world view, where the limo-liberals fight amongst themselves on whether Hitler or Stalin had it right as they dream of ruling over and social engineering the globes’s enviornment and slaves to their liking.

Romney is a lying pos that will take what ever position he thinks he has too to get into office.

That said, would he shut down FR? My money says obama will as well as other Conservative sites.

We, the American people are getting slammed with no doubt, we're for a better word, fu**'ed.

Not that my vote will matter here in union heavy Vegas, but it would be nice to buy some time to correct this 100 year old voyage to socialism and complete take over by the commies.

Just my $0.02

As I've said before and will continue to repeat until my fingers start to turn into stubs:

Unfortunately, in the unlikely event Romney should get the presidency, he will become the head of the Republican party and will therefore put those individuals of like minds in key positions. Just going by his past history pertaining to his conduct in and out of office, it will take decades, if ever, for the conservative movement to once again gain the foothold and the power that it now has. Among vast number of conservative Republicans (I use that term advisedly.... now) there will be such a "wailing and gnashing of teeth" lamenting how could this have happened to us and this great country of ours? My retort will be...... look in the mirror! The "Republican Establishment" is playing a successful game of rope-a-dope.

As for myself, I'll no longer vote for the lesser of two evils because evil is still evil no matter how much lipstick you put on it. My word, I've gone down the voting list from Sarah Palin to Newt and I'm going no further. I'll not vote for someone who should actually be running on the Democrat ticket as a moderate Democrat. That's how we got into this mess ............... Let'r rip!

Obamacare was a serious issue to conservatives and Tea Party voters. How many states are involved in lawsuits?
Please explain to me why out of all the governors, conservative republicans and potential gop candidates the establishment opted for the very man that introduced socialized medicine to the USA?
IF Ahnold was eligible they may have gone with him. It was my understanding that Romney is the very type of candidate the Tea Party folks fought long and hard to get rid of...go figure.

Unfortunately, in the unlikely event Romney should get the presidency, he will become the head of the Republican party and will therefore put those individuals of like minds in key positions.

Another thing that will happen is the DemocRATs will have their poster boy to blame the economy on. Minutes after the inauguration, the organizer of the day's events (Chuck U. Schumer) will run to the microphone and announce "It's Romney's economy now!"

Then, ever nosedive that occurs will be blamed on Romney and the GOP. In 2016, the DemocRATs will come roaring back with the message "We TOLD YOU SO!"

Hmmm. Who would be a good candidate to run against Romney? How about Obama?

Don’t know what Romney actually envisioned for his Health Care plan, but whatever it was, it has been larded up with ‘benefits’ put there by the Democrats in the MA legislature. It has become more expensive every year, and we don’t have the choice to forego Prescription Drug Coverage, like we did in the first year. Just that ‘bennie’ alone added $2K/yr. to each of our policies, and we didn’t even WANT it!

If conservatives do not totally raise HELL and politically tear that republican convention apart we deserve to get this wanker Romney as the republican nominee! C'mon let's open up an industrial size can of whoop ass, and cause as much (legal)contention and strife as we possibly can!!

I realize I'm probably the only one at FR advocating this raucous, in your face platform, but we HAVE to do something or we are going to end up totally deflated!

Conservatives, we can prevent Romney from getting these 1,144 of PLEDGED delegates, it is time to bring down this RINO/GOPe house!!

I wish I could rationalize, but I can't think of any thing other then what the alternative is.

I've gone from a profitable home business to near nothing, if me and my significant other had bought a house when we were thinking about doing so, right now we'd be royally screwed.

Luckily we elected not to buy a house but the fact remains, this is a very hard choice to make for those in similar positions....and I suspect there are many who are likewise the same.

I am going to exit this thread lest I be accused of supporting a lesser of two evils.

This election is about survival.

REBELLION IS TOO DAMN HARD, AND IT’S SCARY.

The Kool Aid drinkers are skeered out of their bejeebies and headed for the Romney train. Falling like flies they’ve been bet on again. As the useful idiots they were slated to be.

My take is banked on the chances that socialist Romney will get more socialism passed by a Republican Congress and Senate than anyone ever dreamed of right now. Whereas if Obamamao in a second term came up with the same crap, or worse, he would hit a brick wall.

The GOP-E are in the tank with their “annointed one” — our first Republian Socialist nominee ever— and intend to see him suceed. His wife already has to rearrange every word he utters, because he’s such an empty suit and doesn’t have a clue who he is, himself. GAD.

The two parties are now melled together and kidding ourselves is just nursing the Kool Aid for the masses.

Catholics need to wake up too. This is the guy who seeded the same grief and intimidation to Catholic run hospitals in MA that we see today nationally sticking it to them on abortion “services”.
